What additives with GH nutes?

I use Koolbloom powder and Nutri+ Bud+ right now. When I started using the Bud+ my room got very stinky.

Looks like I will stick with KoolBloom for now, got alot going on, different strains, etc and might as well stick with what I know till I get everything sorted

I may add some silicas next go around to help strengthen the plants.

The awesome thing about GH is that it is such an awesome nute you can use just about any "additive" or "enhancer" to it. In my current grow I'm using GH micro and GH bloom with GO CaMg+, GO Bio Root, GO Bio Weed, Botanicare Silica Blast (just ran out though and switched to dyna-gro protekt, Botanicare Liquid Karma, Botanicare Hydroplex, Bloom Sea Minerals, Bloom ooze, H&G Multizen, H&G Bud XL, H&G Top Booster, H&G Drip Clean, CES Sugaree,CES Solargaia, EarthJuice Hi Brix Molasses Roots HPK, Xtreme Nutrients Rhino Drive, Xtreme Nutirents PowerRock.

My former schedule was GH micro,bloom, hygrozyme,SM90 and koolbloom. And I thought that was alot of measuring and pouring.....

I'm thinking about doing a testing on one of my tubs and use one of these two combos instead of the liquid koolbloom / powder koolbloom combo:
A. dutchmaster potash plus w/ max or add.27
B. advanced nutrients big bud liquid / finish w/ overdrive
Any thoughts on this?

I use molasses with every watering during flower and flush.

In flower use molasses at 1 teaspoon per gallon with your nutrients.

During flush use 1 Tablespoon of molasses per gallon of water and that is it.


I do not reuse coco at the moment, never tried. Maybe I should.

I've been running with GH @ 6:0:9 and KoolBloom, same as you.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Its interesting that more people are using the 6:9 in hydro even though rez/head use the formula for coco specific needs.

Does anybody know if I can reuse my coco if I used molasses during the flushing period. I'm about to flush this week and I'm wanting to use molasses or maybe some Sweet to bring out some flavors.

I use Fox Farms trio pack with G.H. and it works great never have had anything go wrong. I also use G.O. CAMA+ and Dyna gro pro-tekt,Drip clean and EM-1 microbial inoculant

i mix my rez then ph it after its all mixed up ,cycle it a few times and ph again i have an ebb and grow system ,and it takes few cycles to fill the rez to the top as there is standing water in each bucket so the rez level drops i top it and ph again,and from that point i top off and ph ,until it goes to flower,then a rez change again mix for bloom cycle,and cycle a few times ,hope this helps

I would suggest incorporating a few more additives to your bare-bones nute regime.

i use gh 3 part micro, grow, and bloom and all the additives for the aggressive formula on the feed chart. i have a recirculating res and my plants seem to love when i change the res out every 2-3 wks. rather than just topping off for the whole grow. happy growing bud. b safe. stay safe.

Just picked up some silica and floralicious plus for my next run using 6/9. Do you guys introduce these products from the beginning? And when do you stop using them?
