Your thread didn't really have a specific topic....Keep the convo here or actually use chat...
Kerlito's thread was about "chat regulars," not chat in general. Given time, it would have become a repository for funny chat quotes and stories and prolly a lot more.
And how is this thread, with its own specific topic (chat's return after an extended absence,) the better place for a general discussion anyways?
I'll admit he is not the easiest to understand, but I sincerely appreciate that he tries, and he has befriended many of us here as a result. Perhaps this member of our community deserves a little more respect than he is getting right now - dismissing his threads as pointless and rambling is pretty harsh and not based in reality.
And is there some pressing need to close a thread you don't understand immediately? Nothing negative was going on, just jovial conversation among members. In the tokers den no less.
Cause then all the stuff is in one place.....chat regs need a thread? and chat? lol C'mon...I never said he was rambling...I said the whole thread was...wanna slap each other with tuna? do it here...or actually use the feature you're talking about...

One post was about tuna slapping, and it was a humorous reference to the slap feature in IRC chat - again, you dismiss what you don't understand.
Like said, the point was to have a place for quotes and stories, things of that nature.
Really, things people aside from chat regulars might not understand.
Doesn't belong in a thread 20 pages deep about chat being fixed/broken.
There's a number of sites out there where funny irc conversations are logged, and they are quite popular. This isn't some new crazy idea. The thread would have served a similar purpose.

I was always under the impression that what's said in chat stays in chat ... Like Vegas ... having a thread about what's going on in chat defeats chats true purpose IMHO ... I always thought chat was about Real Time Convo, Grow Info, HighJinx, and General Shenanigans.

Easy there. And ... Yes ... I'm sad. I've spent Many Many hours in IC chat and was merely waiting for the glitches to be fixed and such before I make my Triumphant Return!! Broke ass chat fucks need to recognize a Weedman when a Weedman is present ... oops ... wrong window. Seriously ... I gave you a + Rep hit ... No hard feelings here ... C Ya in Chat bro ... right?
