Currently run DWC. 1k watt lamps. General hydroponics nute solution. 112 watt air pump. air cooled hoods. SOG type growing (clone to flower). Nirvana papaya/bubblicious strain.

What can I do to grow better quality buds. Like shit that puts you to the floor when you hit it?

genetics. I probably find one clone in 8 that are worth keeping. About 1 in 20 if done from seed.

Got pics of your plants? Are they healthy? After you're dialed in it's all about genetics

imo spend a few bucks on some higher end genetics its alot of fun and itll be harder than you think just picking wich one to keep ... finding a keeper is the easy part with the more reputable breeders/strains.

Definitely need to find a strain to fulfill your needs.. I ran my haze in Rdwc and it was just as potent as ran in previous systems.. However I ditched the Gh nutes in veg as it wasn't cutting it for me.. Switched to canna aqua and shit blew up like I'm used to :joint:

What mistakes have you made, what were the consequences, how do you avoid the same problems next time? What have you learned so far? What will you do better next time?

You have grown, now you evaluate that experience, learn from mistakes, improve your methods and execution of them. Each step up the ladder brings you closer.

Gotta luv da Brutha Haps........Gets right down to it....Asher.....GH 3 part been good ta me long long time.......Glad the Canna blew shit up for yas.......Coco specific and all ....

Pftek......What you`re lookin for is either not in the genetics you`re runnin , or you`re not takin em far enough ta get the knock yer dick in the dirt CBD`s ta come out........

Try lettin em go up to a couple weeks longer on the flush and finish up to see if the effects get more narcotic.......

I ran all my cycles and rotations on 9 week harveys , but kept 1 room that I ran longer fer headstash.............Lotta things happen couchlock-wise if yas take em a lil longer....

My 2 cents from all them yrs......DHF........:ying:......

Decent tips/advice/2Cents from everyone who've posted so far.

I'd like to reemphasize what DHF said ".............Lotta things happen couchlock-wise if yas take em a lil longer...."

When I first started growing,I used to take all of the strains I grew to 8 weeks. Sometimes that's all they would need, but at times potency was lacking. When I started letting them go beyond 8 weeks, I noticed a difference in the appearance/stone/buzz/effect, that I wasn't getting at the 8 week range.

If I'm growing a strain for the first time, I'll cut sample buds taken between the 8th-10th week time range. This gives me a good idea of when I should harvest a particular strain. (Besides the trichome color and all that).

As DHF said, it's worth taking the extra time if it's quality you're after. The difference between say East Coast Sour Diesel chopped at 8.5 weeks and 9.5-10 weeks is phenomenally different. ECSD @8.5 weeks is decent, but ECSD @9.5-10 weeks is awesome.

I know that sometimes it's difficult to be patient, but if you've invested the amount of time it takes to get to 8 weeks, what's a few more weeks of time to let those trichomes further develop, especially if' it's quality you're after.

Good Luck!

I would have to concur with Herbsman_OS regarding flowering time. And if a longer flowering time doesn't match up with your schedule, it's time to pick a faster strain. Speaking of strains, I like your selection. What sort of yields are you experiencing?

By your account, it looks like you are already expending a great deal of effort. A few extra weeks under flower indoors sure beats an outdoor grow regarding schedules, if not overall quality. Imagine having to wait until November for your outdoor harvest. Been there, done that -- tired of playing Johnny Appleseed, if you know what I mean.
