How often do you water seedlings?

I have been watering once a day. My seedlings are in rockwool cubes and they dry up by the end of the day if not watered.

I missed a day of watering and two of the babies took a real beating. I'm guessing its cool to water every day? I hear most people water every 3 days but thats for a decent sized plant, no?

rockwool generally holds plenty of air, and should always stay damp, as long as you're letting them get 'lighter than fully saturated' before you water again, you're not going to overwater rockwool, in my experience.

Kotton, you can plant the plugs into a hydro medium like Coco, Hydroton, etc. It can also be placed in soil. Just think of it as a starter that holds the initial root system but can be planted into ANY medium really.

Cheers

get your scale out and weigh a cube when its dry.
then let it soak in water. weigh the cube when its fully saturated ( not dripping wet, but wet)
find the mid-weight and water your seedlings once they are lighter then that mid-weight
hope this helps
