Its really tragic. Last I have heard, over 24 homes have been burnt to the ground and the FD is ordering everyone clear the Claremont area.
Apparently, a gas line ruptured under a house at approximately six pm PST.
You can be sure the ones at the epicenter did not make it out

Fire is STILL going strong, eating up houses as we speak. FD is attempting to get all the help they can.

38 Houses completely destroyed, 7 more significantly damaged and several others "mildly" damaged.
It was a 30" gas line that ruptured leaving a 30ft crater in the ground, right where people lived.
Death toll is currently four people. Not as many as one would think, but still too many and could rise since only about 60% of the site has been looked over.

(09-09) 19:53 PDT SAN BRUNO -- A huge explosion - possibly from a gas line - rocked San Bruno shortly after 6 p.m. today, sending up a massive, smoky fireball seen for miles and igniting a blaze that gobbled up at least a dozen houses in a densely populated neighborhood.
