Skunk no 1 outdoors

I got 3 skunk no 1 growing outside from clone. Really smells skunky already. First time with this one. They are about 4-5 feet tall and just starting to show buds.

I just hope they finish on time. I suppose that is what everyone is thinking.

Wow, beautiful plants you've got going there, very healthy looking! I've got a few skunk 1's out there as well, fortunately all three of the one's I didn't kill turned out to be female, but they do not look the same as yours, mine have more narrow fingers. Where did you get yours from? Mine are Gypsy Nirvana Seeds Standard line. The skunk was going to be my persy from this grow but after I stunted them early in the season I'll be lucky to get a half O between the three of them! Looks like you should get a few nice O's off of those girls! Please post more as they progress, skunks are an interesting strain. Keep up the great work!

Hello Citrus. These are from clones from a friend. He got them as clones from another friend. So who really knows if they are legit or not. I do know that they reek. If I get within 50 feet of them I can smell them, and they are just starting to flower. I do know from previous runs of seeds that I have had plants that were different from each other in the same pack of seeds. I would always keep the one that best suited my needs.

This garden is a very low maintenance project. I do not want to make a trail to them so I just look at them from afar usually. I just like to visit about once every two weeks. I have a drip system in place for watering and feeding them. I should show pics. I just have tubing going to the plants that I run nutrients or water every other time. I do not want someone at my house to follow a trail to them. You cannot see from the pictures but to get to these plants you have to go through very tall grass. We have bugs and snakes and most people would not want to go through that unless they had a good reason. I am standing on a slope looking upward in the photo so the picture is deceiving in many ways.

Thanks for stopping by. I have other stuff going on elsewhere but I am working with other people and if I showed that they may be able to connect me to this and well, this is my secret and I want to keep it that way.

No I believe you, there should be a few different strains/pheno's out there with the skunk odor gene. I was just curious if you knew where you got yours from. As a note, my skunks are not particularly skunky yet, but they are very small plants and hopefully will express it when they get further in to flowering.

I hear you on the privacy, no worries, can't wait to see how your girls turn out though!

Thanks Jungle.

I just smoked some of this that my friend grew out. It is the same plant that the clones come from. Very compact buds and very skunky. Kind of like the stuff we got in the 80s. I talked to him about some more clones. I want to make a mother of this clone. I can't wait until I have my own.

I have an indoor grow and another project I cannot talk about right now because it involves other people.

We are going to be swimming in great buds and hash in a couple months. I am still smoking mostly last years outdoor crop and ready for it.

Thank you all for stopping by. I know there are a lot more exciting grows than mine on this site. I am almost embarrassed to even post what I have.

My drip system is just tubing that goes underground to my plants. At my house I connect the tubing to five gallon buckets that have an adapter. I put water in the bucket one day and water the next. These girls had a relatively late start and are in a relatively shaded area. What we have growing in my other project would make your mouth drop. We have plants that are 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide. It is part of a cooperative and it was decided no cameras. When we go to trimming in November I can bring my camera.

Awesome stuff.
I am going to grow Skunk #1 for my next grow, blast from the 80's. They called everything skunk back then... I recall it being a calm high, just what the doctor ordered.
I cannot grow outdoors, cept for putting seeds out by a stream or other water source and letting them be. I can grow indoors legally and get fair crops so not so bad.

I tried to update my pictures but it kept crashing. I have a lame internet connection and I am not too good with computers.

We have been getting rain lately and the girls in the pictures are stretching. It was too wet to get close enough for closeups walking through 4 foot tall grass.

I did get 4 more clones from their mother. I will grow a small indoor scrog of them and keep 1 as a mother.

Lots of exciting grows on this forum and I am starting to get addicted. This is the best time of year for me. All these massive plants starting to flower.

I hope everyone is playing safe with the police, rippers, molds and god knows what else can go wrong. I usually lose about 15 pounds this time of year over worry.

Here are some updates from yesterday. Plants are getting tall and stringy, but all the branches have nice buds. We have been having a lot of rain and they have grown a foot in the two weeks since my last photos. I am a bit worried about the rains this year though. Thanks for dropping by.

Very healthy plants. I love those fan leaves. I'm running some skunk #1 from White Label, leaves are slimmer:

Your plants look a lot different than mine for sure. You are doing very well.
I am happy with my plants, whatever they are though.
Thanks for dropping in.

Hello everyone and thanks for the visit.

I will have an update soon. Time to go get close to them again.

I have difficulty loading images but I will do what I can.
