Shwag Seed

Picked from a bag of the brown frown.

Flowering outside for about 4 weeks. She's just beginning to trich up on her lower bud (3rd pic). Hope it smokes nice.

Thanks BudWiz.

She is a small late season girl. Probably wont get more than 2-3g's off of her, but meh.

Not the best light in these pics unfortunately.

As pretty as she is, who would have guessed that she came from a sack of schwag. Hopefully you'll have a tasty treat when she's all done.

Hey redeyesurprise,

With all the problems I've been having indoors, I'm glad I didn't waste money on expensive genetics this round. This lady is a nice consolation prize, though. She smells like candy. Just sweet sugar. Hope she finishes in time before the cold!

You should bring it indoors and reveg it.... 2-3 grams of bud isnt worth losing the plant.
Hi FoCo,

That's precisely the plan! Well, I'm planning on harvesting the top cola (cough, less than a gram, cough) for "scientific purposes", but then reveg! Gotta get the kinks worked out inside, though.

Any help is greatly appreciated. It would go a long way to making sure this purdy outdoor lives on. :)

Nice looking mexican flowers, Confidential :) Some great things come for free!
May I ask how do you upload your images? They are huge and are not down-scaled by the ICmag server to 100-150kb...

Hey yoss33,

Mexican was my first thought, but it could be a lot of other things. Hopefully it will reveg smoothly and have an opportunity to be grown out properly.

Another day, another update.

Both of these are from random shwag bags. The pink one is on the left.

Starting to trich up nicely. My god she is a stinker!

Here's a close up of the taller one:

Thanks for the update, man!

But I'm not too encouraged by the yellow lower leaves or the red stems, I wouldnt risk being able to harvest and then reveg... I'd bring pinky indoors now and reveg immediately.... particularly if she's got the funk as well as the aesthetics. This could be the next great elite clone-only you've stumbled upon. I've seen a bag of shwag or two that I thought could have been great if it hadnt been compressed and smuggled over the border up a donkey's ass.

Have you thought about growing indoors? If you get the plant revegging you will be able to take clones sooner and you can do a whole run to see what she can really do.

She reminds me of cotton candy. I would say that you have stumbled upon some interesting genetics there, for bag seed.

If you are bringing her back in for re-vegging, and are limited in space and money for this project, you could get by with CFLs in a closet. I vegged out some White Russian ladies indoors, from seed to lush 36" tall in only 90 days, under a bank of fluorescent lamps 6" away, 16/8. Mind your temps and your RH indoors. Best of luck to you.

Hey FoCo. Welcome back!

Mmm mmm! I've had some decent shwag in the past that I kept jarred up, and that cured into a decent smoke. It's too bad the growers failed on the drying/curing/packaging or it might have been really nice.

At the moment the out-of-doors is the safest place for pinky, at least until the weather starts getting cool here. Check the current state of the indoor and you'll see why I can't bring her in yet:

Hey David.

Tis a very special plant indeed. She started out indoors, but quickly shriveled up and turned yellow. She was put outside as a last effort to save her and she perked up in about a week.

Check my link above. Perhaps you could help me figure out what I'm doing to kill everything that goes into this indoor box. I have about 3-4 weeks to get it in order before pinky will be forced to come inside.

:tiphat:

Sadly both plants were eaten by deer. The pink haired lady was left with the very bottom node, and has been on life support inside. She has been put back into veg and now has 3-4 new leaves with no serration. I think I got pretty damn lucky.

The taller plant lost the top half and is being finished inside. Has at least a couple weeks left, but not looking too bad given the circumstances.

Pics will be forthcoming in the near future.
