YOUR WORST/DISAPOINTED/OVERATED STRAIN(S)

Why doesn't the Bou or the Bay offer DNA anymore? I could have swore months or years back that Gypsy offered that line?

I'm guessing a falling out?

I'd like to see DNA and Reserva listed on the bay or Bou again. I read about a big blow up or something between them, sounds like a bunch of tedious back and forth BS to me. I also read that DNA's and Barney's strains weren't in demand and people just didn't want to buy their beans from the bou or bay. I cant imagine that being correct as they have some really really good genetics and I know a whole lot of people who grow their stuff. I'm sure DNA and Reserva are more sought after than GHS and Dinafem strains, I mean seriously... Dinafem's strains are more sought after at the boutique than DNA and Reserva?? LMAO, if that's the case then there are some noobs seriously wasting their money. Everything I've smoked by Dinafem is weak as can be and I've yet to see one of their strains that didn't go hermie. Dinafem is given away for free everywhere, how could that possibly be more in demand than DNA or Barneys?

I'd also like to see Barneys listed again, I mean what is the deal really? Barneys has some of the best stuff around, I've been at this a long time and some of the best bud I've smoked and some of the best plant's I've grown were from Barneys. Real big bummer as I feel weird even talking about those two breeders here at ICM since they're not listed, and they have some of my favorite strains. :frown:

Because they lied to customers, there was a long thread about it. It was clearly shown and demonstrated by a very well reputed user (big hug wherever you are) and Gypsy that Cannalope Haze was indeed a C99, so the company stopped to be reliable.

EDIT
Thread found: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=30337&highlight=cannalope+Haze

I don't remember 'cause the guilty posts were removed very soon...and the guilty DNA mod followed'em. There's nothing worst in a Cannabis growers forum than a privacy violation. As for lying to customers, pffff....he wasn't the first and won't be the last one. Unfortunately.

Probably, but the thread that made the discussion start "Feeding cannalope haze" was epic.
I don't like to see a friend quarreling but I loved the way she did: scientific, ruthless and classy.
Sweet memories :D

Sensi Seeds Black Domina
TH seeds Bubblegum
I always get two packs of beans. These did so horribly done next to other strains. Felt like I had planted some lame bag seed from my teenage years. The bubble gums were extremely uniform and stable but it's like stabilized crap. Ended up giving both extra packs away (with warning or course.) Ive ordered many beans and these were the only lame ones. I just stay away from those seed companies now.

I had a horrible time with Dutch Passion's BlueBerry. 19oz from 2 females in 100% organic and under 800w of CMH. Grapey and beautiful. Two HUGE colas, but the shit ws not potent at all. Subsequent runs on the clones revealed that no matter what I did, they just didn't have the potency. There were 5 other females in the pack. A couple were fairly potent, but yield and vigor were not there.

Total waste of money. Only seeds I have ever purchased that were not viable. Out of ten I managed to get one female that hermed. The rest of the beans did not even germinate.

Nirvana Big Bud x NL. Yielded big, tasted like cardboard, weak stone. Yech.

Freebie KC 33 x ? Monster yield, mediocre stone, horrid taste

Freebie Durban x Skunk#1. One out of 10 germed, plant was weak, scraggly, never showed it's full potential. Tasted blah, no real potency.

I've had random bagseed that was way better than the above 3.

White Widow from Willyjack, remember him? It was only $35 but it was hard to germinate, grew very slow, fert sensitive, had no flavor and very low potency. This strain was the first and only time I've been embarassed about what come out of my growroom. Also early misty from nirvana for outdoor. I will say that for n. Minn. those plants were the toughest I have EVER seen! But.....they had low potency even for an outdoor strain, and tasted like cardboardy/corncobs.
