What's new

late season update from my garden

I've got around 3 weeks of flowering left on this strain, I was doing some staking yesterday and decided to take a couple of photos.

I've been feeding with AN Heavy Harvest and also using an inline fertigation system called an EZ-FLO which has allowed me to use big bud, liquid gold and molasses through flowering. They just got their last feeding yesterday and in another week I will begin flushing with strain water for the last 14 days.

Hot Dam Clunk...
I have been waiting ever so patiently for an update from you. You have some nice, early strains. Looks very promising, in a phat yield, A+, on your grow style.
Peace

thanks guys. the cut is called c-warp, I've been told it's a cross of chemo x texeda timewarp, from the gulf islands.

It's an interesting strain, it auto flowers as soon as it's rootbound so it's finicky to keep mothers, clone and transplant at the ideal time without having your plants get rootbound in small pots before transplanting. When I planted in early june they all started to flower early and I thought my season my be screwed but they re-vegged and I must say I'm really happy with how it's turning out now. I've found it to be a really heavy feeder and to only require light pruning.

You can see a few plants in there that are a lighter green and still in full veg mode with very fat leaves. These are called Shazam and while they are getting really bushy, they've barely thrown a hair yet so I'm not sure if they'll finish in time. The breeder said big yields by october 10th, so we'll see. I've only got a couple mixed in there to test it out for the future.

Hey Clunk, we have spoken before on my old account. Everything looks awesome!

I wanted to mention though that the C-warp is actually seawarp, I actually know the circle that found it and spread it like crazy all over BC (Texada/lasqueti folks) it also goes by "seaweed" . I am 99% sure it's a mix of Texada Timewarp, Sea level, and possibly an afghani called Ben. C is just a mis-interpretation of sea .. There isn't any chemo in it, I am sure of that.

hey, thanks for the clarification...somewhere along the line I had read the C was for chemo, but stories get twisted...good to know the real origin. Now that you mention it you might have even told me the genetics actually, my memory just isn't so good.

Hey Greenmango, around here there's been a bit of a mix-up. Somehow, through the pipes a reputable clone source released some mothers and a shit-ton of clones which were supposed to be Sea-weed but were actually some kind of unkown indoor strain - I've been told there are over 15-20 thousand of these unknown clones on the hillsides around here, I know growers who have lost everything because this unkown strain will not even come close to finishing for them. The market might not be as saturated with Sea-Weed as we originally thought..pretty shitty for those who got the wrong cut, but maybe it'll keep prices up.

Hope it keeps the price high for you, over here it's down to 1500 for decent indoor maybe 1900 for nice kush .. already saw some really nice frosty seawarp at 1000 a # and people still weren't grabbing them.

Sorry, I moved and wasn't able to get my internet hooked up until now. No photo updates, they'll be done in another week though. We've had a really unseasonably cold, wet fall so far and I was just up clipping out a bit of mold here and there, all in all I probably only pulled a gram of dry weight off the plants though. Looking forward to harvesting so I don't have to worry about the weather any more. Right now every time it rains I can barely sleep at night knowing everything might be molding.

what that mean?

Clarification

It is C-Warp, not seawarp or seaweed

C stands for the letter that designated the father .Pure texada genetics that are now everywhere in BC it seems. The root restriction is correct, they should be done in 7 gals on drippers for max effect and Sept 20th harvest.

The assumed but way too late "seawarp" is infact some blueberry cross that got handed out 2 summers ago on a mislabel.(I did slap the offender upside the head but he had sold thousands of clones before folks figured it out....Doh!!!)

Enjoy Your C-Warp, just about to cut mine down(a tiny speck of the rot with 5 days of rain forecast)

cool, thanks for the heads up. I was just up clipping a bit of mold off here and there, they'll be coming down in a couple of days making it a sept 24-25-26 finish. They could come down right now, but I'm bogged down and don't have any space to put them, gotta build more drying racks I guess..

I must say that the early buds I took down last week look great, nice and frosty, lime green..if someone handed me a bag I'd be inclined to call it indoor if I didn't know any better. The mark of a quality strain, for sure.

Are you sure 100% I think this is just speculation, I know the boys on lasqueti and texada they were calling it "seaweed" about 4 or 5 years ago.. first summer it got let out actually.. seen many a deep freeze full of the stuff maybe they are calling it "sea" instead of "c" to denote the sea level stuff versus the bluff grown. .. I think those boys would have the name straight though.

Last night I had a chat with a friend who was growing there in late 70's early 80
s, telling me how his buddy went to afghanistan for a few months and brought back hundreds of indica and autoflowering ruderalis? seeds .. probably one of pioneers of outdoor strains on the Island. A handful of people are still growing it pure but later generations .. goes by the name acetone.
