the ssh/ptk x beeniemans is showing its SSH/PTK dominance now in flowering, but still there is a lot of influence from the beeniemans. all in all the cross seems to have mostly positive abilities, although i think the only drawback as far as i can see is the relativelly small size of the plant. but im also sure its compact nature and very short internodal distance is on the beneficial side after all. the stem is enormously strong and thick. maybe one of the most rugged and sturdy stems i ever seen, and even after 3 times bending and snapping the tip tom try to make it bush out, it grew back into its former shape within hours. now in late mid flowering, the stem is thick as a thumb even half way up on the plant. im sure flowreing her in a big container, she will most likelly take up the space and grow bigger. but i prefeer to flower her in a small pot so that it will be easier to reveg. one sacrifice for a better future :D if i can get her to reveg i will be very happy.

i havent done any mayor sniff tests etc, so i can not tell too much about smells and aromas at the moment.

on the other hand the blockberry x beeniemans is actually starting to look a slight bit more promising. it might have the retarded flowering pattern of the blockberry, and if it is so, it will suddenly take off and start filling up. the mom used had that flowring pattern, and did not look like keeper at all untill very late in flowering. when she showed what she could do, its slow start was greatly compensated for. now im hoping that this cross will do the same.

i have one more female of both recently put into flowering.. i hope they will be as promising as the 2 first plants i put to flower of these crosses.

also i have in flowering a few smaller plants that i was forced to put in the flowering room to fill it up better.

i only hope the seedlings in the veg area will grow quick enough to compensate for the lack of clones for the coming months.

peace

glad to read your dring nets are full again buddy, that's always good news :)

i'll be watching your outdoor project with interest. been getting into the guerrilla growing myself this season. i found a mix with some 40% coco and local earth mixed with some nice npk ferts and beneficials and those plants will grow like crazy. feeding my guerrilla patches all organics, it's real nice to see how healthy they can grow outside under the sun.

my condolences for the camping trip victim, :) how many times do i have to tell you you need auto watering set up

anyway i'm just dropping in to say hi, hope to see you in my new thread when i start it, about my new box and my sd x cj and top44xsd/cj crosses.

peace out brah

man i gotto say i been put off a bit with the outdoor project.. atleast for the summer half year.

once the season for hellicopter vigilance for plants is over ill consider it again. but august / september is too stressing with the constant hellicopter trafic in the area.

in a few days i should get time to make a foto session with the plants that are flowering now.. not many plants... but atleast the two that are fattening up look better every day..

the blockberry x beeniemans has finally gotten serious about flowering.. its maybe not too fast, but it looks like its going to be worth the wait.. getting some stinkyness going on... should turn out potent i hope...

the SSH/PTK x beeniemans. im getting very positivelly surprised by this gem. its got very resinous tips, fan leaves included. the calyx look velvety with the long stalked trichs. in general the resin coverage is very high. the calyx look white and fluffy in the tips. the way the calyx are piling up tight to each other, really promises for some solid nugs...

peace! :D

the ssh/ptk x beeniemans choice is still packing on resin. it looks whiter by the day. the last one of it that i put into flowering is showing a quicker onset of flowering, and its also has the short sturdy look to it. the flowering might have started a bit earlier on the second one.. this one is in a 12 liter pot, but it really hasnt grown too big compared to the other one in a 6 liter pot. seems like it doesnt need big pots to thrive..

peace

i finally cut and put to reveg the ssh/ptk x beeniemans female. i still got hundreds of seeds of that cross to go thru, but in anycase im going to try to keep this first nice one.. if it wants to reveg that is.

luckilly i have a lot of beeniemans F2, and i can remake the cross when ever i want.

by far the female put to reveg is one of the most exiting cuts i had - since even if it flowered in a 5 liter pot, it yielded definetly over 100g of rocksolid resin covered nugs - and it still had a few weeks left to go! its sad to ahve to cut a plant early to reveg it but in this case its more worth it than ever.

we also had a few quickdried nugs for testing this weekend and it was far above expectacions. the high is potent, byt more heavy indica than the SSH/PTK or beeniemans choise alone. all in all im extremelly happy with this cross. ill post some pics soon..

anyway - im going to plant as many as i can of the ssh/ptk x beeniemans choise during this autumn/winter - and hopefully by the coming spring all seeds have been planted.

hazeventura - i dont remember if u got any of this cross, but if you do :D plant it! there might be a MIGHTY surprise lurking in there :D :D

peace all!

yeah my friend,

I have some Beenieman's in the fridge...should plant them soon. but i have actually 4 Negril in flower....2 days now lol .

There are many new things to come.........

peace HV

awesome :D

the negril was ok smoke, but not as crazy resin coverage as on the beeniemans choice :D

the cross of ssh/ptk x beeniemans is a bit more impressive imho than most things i have grown out this far. now its left to see if the rest of the females of this are as amazing or not. i checked on the seed stash and i got lots more left-- i think now the mission is to plant 100 seeds and see how they go :D if the nugs are consistently as amazing i will remake this cross F1 since i got a bunch of beeniemans F2 to pick a new bunch of males from.. the ssh/ptk mom is allways waiting..

next up i will dust a SSH/PTK with ssh/ptk x beeniemans pollen and see if the pollen is viable.. i got the male drying still.. havent touched it at all for a few weeks.. but it should be ok.. the room is quite dry it is in.. lets see.. if not there will be more males later to select thru..

for now i will concentrate on this cross.. i still got lots of seeds left of other crosses to go thru later.. sigh... the list never ends and it seems to grow more and more quick! ..

peace!

im going to the grow room to plant 7 seeds of SSH/PTK x beeniemans choice.. (darn, i need a funky name for this cross.. )

later i will plant more :D

i need to get more rockwool plugs :D

peace all
