$1500 isn't shit esp if you say you've been doing this for awhile on and off.. or attempting atleast. thats my electricity bill almost every month your trippin. lets see you need to veg them a week or two and flower them out so maybe 3 1/2 months depending on finish you'll probably get.. no cash, smoke it all and stop buying from clubs.
Soil is difficult to grow in. I once transplanted some plants to soil. They started yellowing and dying and no matter how much I flushed. Changes are slow and the plant responds to soil changes late. Hydro is easier because you can "reset" your mistakes by doing a reservoir change and the plants respond in real time.
I suggest ordering GOOD quality seeds and setting up an Ebb/Flow table or buying one and sticking to General Hydroponics 3-part line of nutrients. Get a good quality pH/TDS meter. Hanna HI 98129 is good and does both. If hydro seems too complex (it's not) then go with COCO COIR over soil.
Also get a 600w lamp and pay money on a fan. Nothing more annoying than seeing people buy everything they need and then thinking they can get away with a little PC fan.
I can't see how you can fail with what I just mentioned. You need to grow a lot of weed and sell it (or to thank me, give it away) as far and wide as possible. Overgrow!!

well im at day 19 of 12/12 only 3 plants so i do fill good puls i got 8 more clones almost ready to go in...so i can see the light at the end of the BUD ...ck out my 2nd grow in my sig...i am having a lot of fun learning this stuff
yeah, everyone starts in soil. You get ok results, and then move on to other things. The DIY section is your best friend until you can save up enough $$$ to get some real equipment. Once you get your strain dialed, and some kick ass equipment....sky's the limit really.
Start with good genetics, and figure out what system is going to give you consistent results. You have to coordinate with your broker, and work on parts of your system that are laggin behind the other parts. For me...mother production and cloning did not come easy. I have to put in twice as much time and effort to get that caught up. I also incorporate many methods of growing in to my system. I have hydro, aero, and coco all in one perpetual system..because these are ideal FOR ME..and work best..FOR ME. There is no one "best" method to grow.
Go with what works, and then try and improve on it.
And read, read, read. If you don't understand something...ask questions. The only stupid question is the one not asked.

There's a lotta learnin between "Kinda got it going" and "fire up that bong Bubba!".
First question should be, how long till I'm not buying? - which if the past is any indicator - well, - let's say - you should be closer than you were. But there are no guarantees - sometimes you can screw up and not hurt the garden - sometimes you can bearly slip and ruin 6 months of hard work.
I used to loose at least 1/2 of what I sprouted.

It's like trying to get money loaned to girl friends - if you need the money, - you better not. On the other hand, what else ya going to do with it? lol
I like the girls in my life - the ones with roots, and the ones with legs. If they want or need it, and it's in my grasp - they will get it. (the ones with roots -usually, pay back eventually)

This cat has a point. Do the math, that 150 bux a year. You spent more than that on "stupid stuff" each year. Pay back is when you have something that you didn't buy on the "market". Heck I'll smoke leaf before I spend money buying weed or do with out. Saving the money is my payback. Maybe just a slight re-adjustment of the Karma Compass??? My opinion and guess...........or perspective.
Or as some famous person sorta once said, the best weed in the world is what you have on ya at the moment. Whadya pay for your last oz? Or the 1 you didnt have to buy? Perspective...........
