I hope this not come across as a slam, please consider it constructive advice...

The way you have that grow while a nice job on tying down plants is waisted on the lighting direction you have chosen. Let me explain...

The tie down tech is used to obtain a flat canopy, so more bud sites are closer to the light hanging above them. You are growing vertical, look how most of your light is waisted, not even hitting the plants directly. Here is what you need to do. grown them in a xmas tree shape. keep the light at the hight you have now till they are the right hight for you...(ie you need to know how much it will stretch, you want 3' for 400w 4-5 for 600w and 6-7 with 1000w. So if you need 3' and it triples in size veg till 1' then flip to 12/12. Tomato cages are recommended to be placed while the plants are young.

Now how to do the light...

Simple, the hight you had was good for veg and the first 2 weeks of flower. You want the plant to grow up and the lower branches to grow out and up. After 2 weeks of flower lower the bulbs to just above the midway part of the plant. Then you rotate each plant a 1/4 turn a day.

You do this and your yield will double to triple what you got this time and is alot easier to work on.

Hope this helps.

thanks Unc...

no slam at all... I have been growing for 15 years and still wake up every day eager to get on here and see what has changed...

This was really just a last chance effort to get some things out of my system... the defoliating, the tying down branches... not my regular method by far! just trees surrounded by massive amounts of light, fresh cold air, and lots of shadows kicked off by my silouette...

This grow is a demo grow to help me pick out my keeper pheno from these seeds... I moved states mid-grow... just happy they are still alive as I almost didnt make it...

these girls look better than I do !!!!

also my power is super cheap here and I am in no shortage of hps lights laying around... I was thinking of putting another one in the middle... higher than the others just to kick those lumens up another 50k.... But there seems to be great light dispesion in there...

4, 400w hps all within 3ft of each other... should be good...

idk
