Recently going back to Botanicare and using their nute schedule even in the lowest dose ML per Gallon was WAY too high. Post up your Botanicare feed dosage please and the medium you grow.

I am running a zero drain to waste set up in a mostly coco mix..currently running 1/2 strength for veg,,i harvest a few weeks ago having run full strength through flower..i have noticed that some of the ash left over in the bowl is dark black not ashy grey,,some people say this is caused nutes levels being high when harvested..i flushed for a 1 1/2 weeks with 5.8 ph water..not sure about this but results were good for the 1st time,,however i expect the 2nd time to benefit from the learning experience of the 1st. I should have used silica blast, and their calmg..

I'm not the most experienced but I thought the ideal pH to shoot for is 6.5-6.8? Someone please correct if I'm mistaken...

Depends largely on the water you use.

For me, (high in the rockies) no,,, ( - HIGH - In The Rockies) figgure about 1 tsp per gal - but you will prolly need some cal-mag also.

Or R U flowering????

pbp grow @ 5ml
bloom @ 15ml
liquid karma @ 7ml

gives nutrient profile of n80-p80-k200-60mag-60cal, which is along the lines of the rez/head formula. I grow in straight b'cuzz coco, although I've got a few tester plants in roots organic coco which are also on the pbp...main garden is on house & garden. I ph to 5.8 and use dechlorinated tap water. after 5 weeks of bloom (depending on strain, week 5 for 9 week strains) I drop the grow from the mix then flush for a minimum of 10 days to get nice white ash.

Ideal ph depends on medium, soil is in the 6.5-7.0 range, coco is in the 5.7-6.1, hydro is like 5.5-6.0 or something

Yup, that's my profile too, except I use Botanicare Moisture Formula coco. My use with LK varies, but I do use it about once a week. That might change with my next cycle though.

BTW...the 5/15 with BT nutes is for established plants. Young-ins obviously get a much lower dosage.

I'm using the lk about 2x a week, ph usually ends up right @ 5.8-5.9 without any adjustments...my veg stays on GH 6/9 formula...plants are always 100% healthy with no deficiencies, and I can keep a rez going for up to 2 weeks without it going stale on me, which is the main reason I use it.

I personally feel better mixing the pbp at the time of use, seems like it goes stale pretty quick when compared to h&g and GH.
