Hello all, I have been a member for a while but just moved from Oklahoma to just outside of LA in Orange California. Loving the Medication!!
Was a real culture shock thats for sure! Was just hoping to run into some people. People keep to themselves alot here untill there a bum. Then they are all up in your shit.

I spent a month out in Riverside county a few years ago and yes, although people keep to themselves a bit, the west is chock full of people WAY more polite than people in Indianapolis (I found). Be a little bit outgoing and just spark up conversation with people, they will talk back guaranteed. How do I know this? I was a door to door salesman. Everyone that answered the door let me give them my entire spiel. Only once did a friend of mine get a gun pulled on his face, but he didnt act like a bitch, and he made the sale. This, btw was in Murrietta in Riverside County.

i agree, there are some cold people out here, i think, about 3 out 5 have screwed me over one way or another,and i know ,some did so without meaning to,like my ol' x buddy chad,(not paying rent,util. bills, for him and his girlfriend) and some were family,( my kid brother), so i do keep to myself mostly, i am more cautious about who i get close to., but the silver lining is, the few friends i have, are great people.theyre here... they are just hard to find. be carefull who you get to know.



oh, and p.s., if you head down to T.J., and stop by sandiego, go to Ocean Beach ( O.B.), but dont feed theyre bums.
