I Lol @ Philly...I will never understand Philly fans...

Jets are the only competition we have in the division, and thats a sad state of affairs.I just tuned into the game, its FINALLY on stupid weather...Anyways, Phins will own the division again. Weve made the playoffs the last two season, but I knew that we werent strong enough up front to make it past the first round. This year however, if we dont make it to the AFC finals game, Ill be surprised.

what dont you understand? im from philly and like my team win or lose i still support. and no i dont think kolb will lead them to a championship but thats what we got so im standing by him. hes better than vick atleast he can complete a pass.

The Eagles have had a pretty long run of above-average, sometimes great football, which is more than most teams can say. I think Kolb is a sleeper pick in fantasy football; he wont get drafted high but i think he's good for 3500 yards and 25 tds, with as much as Reid likes to pass...

Smoke1: Lets see if the Titans can continue their strong ending from last season, when they almost made the playoffs after starting 0-6. I know the Texans are predicted to challange the Colts for the AFC South, but I dont know why anyone would write off the Titans. Not with Lil' Wayne... oops I mean Chris Johnson in the backfield. I said Yay-uh!

Big D: thats actually a nice looking ring. The fleur de lis is really classic.

Mclips: do you mean the defensive line? Were they getting pushed around a lot last year? I dont remember the Dolphins being a particularly bad defensive team but then again i dont keep up with stats as much as i should...

Nah man, our D was good that year, but last year they were kinda bunk. I was refering to our O line. It was before we picked up Jake Long and a couple other pieces of our offense line, and got everyone healthy.

Yeah, the Fins had a decent O-line last year. I know Ricky Williams had no problem gaining yards, for the most part. Better than the Bears line, at least, which i fear will be the downfall of this season.

My uncles a HUGE Bears fan, I dunno whats goin on over there. I was surprised they didnt go back to the playoffs after they got the Superbowl STOLEN from them.

I dont remember the game being stolen from them. Maybe there were bad calls, there always are, but usually that happens for both teams.
I remember Peyton didnt play particularly well, but Grossman played worse, and the Colts defense did a good job, and that leads... to coming in second.
But lately that's been the trend in the league; Superbowl runner-ups more often than not don't make the playoffs the next year. It's a testament to the parity and change in the league. It's also why bad teams can become good the next year (didnt the Fins go from 1-15 to 11-5?).

Do the Raiders have something against bald guys? Cause Gradkowski is clearly their best qb right now. The offense just moves with him...

I think Goodell will reduce Big Ben's suspension to 4 games. From all accounts, Roethlisberger has been a model citizen. Good for him. Hope it lasts.
Polamalu may be the most indispensable player to the Steelers. Without his freestyling, the Steeler defense lost its identity last year. Plus, as defending Super Bowl champs, everyone was gunning for them.

definetly, i like to think they would have won ALL of the games they lost to shit teams had he not been injured. uughh Ben's a pig dude and they got rid of Holmes for burnin trees...not cool.

Well, that and also allegedly throwing a glass at a girl in a nightclub and also causing a disturbance on a plane (refusing to turn off his ipod, petty i know but seriously he should have just turned it off).
They'll miss him but supposedly Mike Wallace looks capable of filling his shoes.

Yeah, it's always tough to lose a Pro Bowler and Super Bowl MVP, but Wallace has looked good in the preseason, and he's a burner, able to stretch a defense with ease. Is Randle El their #3 wideout?
The Steelers draft and develop players well so they are better able to reload than many other teams in the league. I liked what I saw of Dennis Dixon in the Ravens game last year; except for that INT at the end I thought he played well. I guess they're going with Left-bitch as starter in Ben's absence, but i expect Dixon to take over by the second game of the season. He brings an extra dimension to the offense with his scrambling ability, whereas Leftwich is the definition of the word 'immobile'.

If Dixon can make smart decisions he could definetly cause defenses some problems. Looks like Randle El and Arnaz Battle will be #3 and #4. I'm liking Mendelhall as a 3 down back though if he can protect that rock. I think he spins everytime he touches it. You're a bears fan right? Happy to have Urlacher back I'm sure.

Mendenhall is definitely a stud, but i think every team needs a good second RB to keep the starter fresh. Platoon RBs are whats in vogue now...
The Bears are my team yes but i fear the worst this season. I know its only the preseason but the oline looks bad; Chris williams, a first round draft pick a couple of years ago, looks like a turnstile at left tackle, waving at rushers as they pass him by. I could see Cutler throwing another 20 ints this year...
