honestly its hard to follow some of your posts with my pictures, and im a measly 6-10' tall..... either way here are updates of the shivas.

a single plant photo of one of the early smaller shivas.
my favorite shiva makes a gallon container of e.j. hi-brix look like a mini maple syrup jug, love that photo. also some medicine close ups of the action.....

Looking good onetime64. Next year with those hoops in place you can get an early start, but for this year looks like you'll have a nice harvest.

No. I don't see any large tobacco business getting in to cannabis before it is 100% legalized federally. They're making too much money doing what they're doing already to do something federally illegal IMHO.

Happy Labor Day everyone!

It's wonderful to see the fruits of hard labor blooming in everyone's pictures. The master grower who has been mentoring me says simply "You get out of them what you put in." It's apparent all here will have a harvest beyond compare this fall.

Came to town for steaks and microbrew for tonight's cookout. Here's a few pics showing what we've been laboring on.

My hat is off to you all!

Yet another rattlesnake in the camp last night. Biggest one yet, just about three feet long. It was curled up around one of my cast iron frying pans in the dish washing area.

I give the meat to the sheriff deputy that patrols my area and did my plant count and rec check. Came by once armed and suited up as explained earlier in this thread, now I visit him.

He no longer asks any questions and has said he's glad medical marijuana is legal so he can concentrate on the meth cookers. Obviously a Rivero supporter!

He's provided several introductions to local skeptical old school ranchers who don't like all the "pot growing gangsters" moving to the neighborhood. They now see we're just regular people like them, farming a crop and taking care of the land. It's really improved the image of med mj in this corner of the community.

Allowing another rancher to pasture horses on my property helps keep the helicopters up. They're supposed to keep 1500' above horses from what I've heard. Builds good community relations anyway and helps keep the fire hazard down.

Changing minds one person at a time...

I agree with this. But I'd note that "Big Tobacco" (and possibly "Big Liquor and Beer") is probably already quietly lobbying for a federal legalization plan that puts them firmly in control when it does happen.
