I have 8 bucket waterfarm I added shut off valves to each unit. My problem is most of these valves leak? They are the black ones that are in the magazines and hydro stores. Any help appreciated!

I ws thinking that one solution would be to put two or three of them on one line to back each other up, but have not tried it.

Rig in a good valve. PVC/ABS/CPVC is tried and true. Febco makes GREAT valves using the sharkbite system. It will attach to anything (polytube, copper, pvc ect) that fits the side. Slides on and off. Pricey, but a awesome seal and very convienient.

i have found they dont handle pressure real well and will leak.

Cannarado is right, PVC valves are the way to go. It is a bit pricey but wont leak. I have used ball valves from home depot in various sizes with great success

GH makes a 1/2" "stopcocok valve". Odd name but all it is, is a shut off valve. Quality. No leaks. Bout 4 bucks a piece. ;) Yer local store should have em or order em online.
