Something that has become strikingly apparent to me in the last week.
Blue CFL's during flowering, without sufficient red = more leaf than bud.
My swazi mother's calynx to leaf ratio has dropped by around 20%.. in other words, she's producing roughly one fith more leaf for every calynx she is growing. It is a clearly noticeable difference over the last week. And i know, when flowered outside, she does not produce this much leaf in flowering.
I'm just thankfull my 250W 2700k is arriving this week, hopefully i can get her back on track before she leafs up too much. i hate harvesting leaf.

Lets hope your new light comes really soon! Would really suck if you couldnt get it to flower normally, but i think it´ll work out fine!

Do they help alot? I was thinking about getting a carbon filter( if thats the correct english name for it). But if insence sticks could cover the smell that would be easier.

How do all of you do it?

i dont have a carbon filter do to lack of space, i only use insence sticks and they work well!

but use a carbon filter if u have the space for it

yeah, i use an insence stick in the morning, just to get some odor in the air besides stinking dank. and i burn em when i smoke, work like a charm.

Hey peeps im joining in on the 250cfl club just got mine in the post today !! yee ha ! i have been well impressed with my buds so far only using a 125w ! got a bagseed flowering at the moment ! A question for you on my 250W it says 250w 8u what does the 8 u stand for ? tia

Hey Ciscosfa, welcome to the club!! The 8 U means it has 8 U's of flouresent tubing or 8 loops of tubing to make up the bulb. With 8 U's of light instead of 4 or 6, it gives more area for light to be produced in a tighter space, which speads the light better, giving a better coverage and spread of lumens underneath the lamp.

I'm still waiting for my 250... oh how time slows for the impatient.

get some activated carbon from local aquarium pet supply under 10 dollars and girls stockings fill with some carbon and cover your exaust and intake if you want to filter that too



the cost nothing to make and when they stop absorbing smell simply make a new one

Im still not using my 250w still not got proper ventilation going yet !! doh ! lol my wee cupboard is fine wi ma 125cfl , i have my mind set on a fan/filter set up from Greens just have to commit and buy it ! i know my girlies will thank me in the long run !
