has anyone elses plants gone into flower early this year?

yeah i did. However it was later than i perceived they would. first X-do though for me, so i had no clue.

I had always been a farmer outdoors, grower indoors. the shift to growing outdoors has awoken my soul!

Dude, My Plants blew over last night! The ones with buds were toppled over resting on the ground. F'ing wind storm last night, The news said "breezy"...Breezy my ass. I spent the whole day Staking, Tying, Netting, Supporting my whole garden. Can't lag on the support next year.

Just east of You Man. Wind was blowin here too. I have cover so Im ok. My Budy in the Country east of Me was Scrambling to address High Wind Gusts.

There was some major high winds going on. And cloudy in my neck of the woods. Starting to feel like fall. Also my plants did flower early as well, but I have a huge mountain to my west so the sun gets cut off an hour early. I am probably further along than anyone else on here and I am kinda glad cause I want to get this harvest done before the rains come.

Anybody try tying them down the whole time, or at least till they stretch? Ive had success doing this in the past and got a decent yield of almost all tops. I was just wondering if it can be done on a larger scale? Like a 20' diameter 3' tall hedge.

drmota - I wont hurt to give them something a lil' sweet

I know Tom is not a fan of training but something a buddy was very heavily into and would train for tops. Yes you can train a plant like that and have seen one about that size...20' x 10'...and a sea of colas.

I have three (Deep Chunk x Bubba Kush) x Who's Your Daddy at the Creek and Grey Beard has their "BIG" Sister up at the BIG FARM... Their Mom of last season yielded some dense, heavy colas... We were unsure which strain was crossed into the genetics; hence, "Who's Your Daddy"
