Ebay tents.

Those look OK, noticed the metal frame poles. I think the other top name tents are overpriced as well as really good.

Yeah i got 3 tents, the cheap ass growlush brands, iam using one atm and seems to be holding up ok. Its 2.8m long, 1.4m wide and 2m high. I am running 2x600 watt hps threw cooltubes growing 7 plants in a 250mm stormwater pipe aero style. It has 3 6 inch ducting outlets and curtain vents inside also. It isnt Mylar but it is very lit up when the lights are on. If i get 3 grows out of it i will be happy, thats for sure.

Make sure your support rods, especially those of the ceiling are made of steel - otherwise the ceiling and your lights will eventually be sagging

If your planning on keeping the tent for several years - go with a quality brand

Way too cheap to be of any quality. And the name "Best Choice" makes it even worse. I have never heard of this Best Choice line of hydro gear.

I would expect to find "All your base are belong to us" somewhere in the instructions. This will leave you scratching your head and there won't be a customer service number.

Also, most 4x8 tents are oversized. This seems to be right on the money.

If you are growing in a tent of this size, buy quality or DIY.

32 square feet can become quite lucrative, don't cheap-out

So i been doing some research and it seems that even the expensive jardins use plastic corner connectors. I think im gonna go with the cheaper ebay tent. http://cgi.ebay.com/REFLECTIVE-INTE...tem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45f438bc24
This one looks fine for what i want to do. Soil 3ga pots with two 1kw lights and a 6" inline with a carbon scrubber Scrubber>lights>fan>exaust. Fan and scrubber will be supported by the ground. Only thing hanging by the tent will be the two 1kw hoods that are quite small and light.
I really dont think i need to spend 600 bucks on a tent to satisfy my needs. Its only gotta last a couple cycles and then i can upgrade yknowwhatimsayin?

As long as they don't have that problem that fucked up many growers gardens back in 06-,07 something with the plastic out gassing and killing your plants. I use a secret jardin they are more expensive but I did not want to risk my expensive hard to find genetics on a tent that I would not know if there is a problem until its to late. I have a better felling that this problem has been resolved by most tent makers. That is a nice tent for the price. Try to keep the opening and closing of the zippers at a min they say heavy duty but on every tent I have had the zippers are the first thing to fail. I added Velcro to my tent so when I'm doing allot of opening/closing I don't need to use the zippers.

the zippers are by far the most frustrating thing about these tents but i use the dark room by secret jardin, i think it is and i have no complaints other than i wish it had windows with Velcro so i could scope without letting out the cold air of my portable a/c...

I have to agree, if you want it to last(and who dont)buy the quality. it will last years and provide many harvest cycles. Be sure you install good ventilation! Good luck, be safe.

thats the same brand I have and have been using it for a little over a year with no problems, small gap between where the zippers meet up but nothing major.

Well i got my tent. I bought http://cgi.ebay.com/REFLECTIVE-INTE...s=63&clkid=6097977060549054454#ht_4865wt_1137 this one.
Came in a single box that was very heavy, instructions for building it were clear and concise. Took me all of about 15 minutes to erect it. This one has snap together metal poles and joints. Its fairly wobbly but nothing i am worried about at all. Spent some time rocking it back n fourth untill i was satisfied it can support both of my hoods. I wouldn't want to hang anything more than you HAVE to on this tent. no fans or carbon filters.

Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

i was gonna buy a secret jardin complete tent set up from ebay for 130 quid last year (their 209 now) but decided against it. so i went to local hydro shop. and spent 500 in one hit on light tent fan ect ect. tent was a bud box 120, the fucker has since fallen apart. i seen a secret jardin in another hydro shop. its awsome quality. much thicker walls than my budbox. stronger zips. its actually light proof ( i had to tape all seams and edges with duct tape on the budbox) it has dimpled mylar lining aswell so deffo get a secret jardin from a reputable ebay dealer.

deffo right about the ventilation. due to the large differenct in tewmp between the canopy and floor you can get bud rot (from myexperience) good air circulation and ventilation sorts that out

I ordered a tent on eBay from PowerKing Shop which is supplied by illumalights. There $124 including shipping with dimensions of 36x36x72(actiual size 40x40x79). If you look at the listing it looks like a decent tent but adfter purchasing it I went back to the listing and scrolled down to find the actual tent which looks suspect. Anybody have any experience with this tent?

Edit: After carefull consideration, this tents going back. Gonna order a Secret Jardin DR 100L from a shop a state away with free shipping.. At least I know it's a reputable tent. A hundred more dollars is worth it to me if I can get a few grows out of it.

Homebox is where it's at. The offgasing thing is a thing of the past and bghydro has the XL seconds for like $200 shipped. I have the L and XL(veg and flower respectively)...and they are awesome tents.

You cannot go wrong with the Homebox. The thing will pay for itself many times over. Those Germans do not fuck around.
