Moving 200 miles. Ideas for moving mom or clones?

So I'm moving very soon, and I don't really want to have to start over from seed if I can help it. Does anyone have some ideas or advice on moving a mom, or some clones? They're in a cabinet now, so the best idea I can come up with is some led flashlights secured inside with them. I doubt the clones will make it, I have them in cups and they're not very stable even just sitting there. Mom's a pretty tough 'ol bird so I have a lot more faith in her. How much lighting do I need to keep her from flowering? She's probably going to be closed up for a couple days.

Are the clones rooted?? 200 miles dont seem that bad and if u can get them back into a normal situation within 2-3 days there shouldnt be a prob as long as the temps dont get too hot wherever u have them during transit. Pack the cups into a smaller box where they won't move around as much too and you wont have to worry bout them tipping over....take care and safe travels!

How about making a bunch of cuttings and storing them in a ziplock bag in a iced cooler. Then when you get to new home prepare cuttings for rooting.

what medium are the plants in? u can get a big box of rockwool chum and treat it like packing material... nestle the clones on a bed of that stuff and u should b fine.... is there anyway u could make a special run with the plants so they wouldn't be closed up for a couple of days; the biggest problem you'll have will be the lack of airflow in the closed box over extended periods of time.... if you take a tray of clones before you go they'd probably be ok with a led taped to the top of the dome or something to that effect; the air movement or lack thereof isn't as much of an issue with clones.. i bet you could wire up something with an old carphone charger cord... hehe... heatmat/light/fan in a cooler running off the cig lighter in the car... or just get a power convertor to switch the cig to a normal outlet... i used to run my volcano off it on roadtrips in the past

Cuttings should be easy enough. A mother might be a little harder to transport. How about a Uhaul "grand wardrobe box" with some of those led adhesive pucks. I'm not sure they are the right spectrum or will give adequate lumens but it might be worth looking into. I dont think they would generate enough heat to be an issue.

Cheers,

Cuttings wrapped in wet paper towels placed in a freezer bag with water in the bottom. I place this in a beer cupg to keep them upright. They have made journeys longer than 200miles like that stuffed in a sack.

Big plants get into a cardboard box with a plastic bag wrapped around the pot.

200 miles is about a 3.5-4hr trip i would put the put in a ziplock if possible and zip/tape it then id wrap some newspaper around it and then put it in a box with some balled up newspaper or packing meterial for 4 hrs it will be ok...

I just had to move mine 1500 miles out here to colorado. They were about a foot tall and in 1 pint pots. 10 of em. Pretty much just put em in the trunk of the car in a bin with an ozone block and made sure to take em out and bring them in hotel with me when i had to sleep. In all they stress a little but easily done. O - dont drive like an idiot as well. Dont wanna get pulled over;)
