Gardens look great everyone. Pretty cool club we got watching everyone's progress. Us IC magers are really gonna grow some quality Ganja this year. This thread has sold out many supply stores of multiple products.(Hortinova, brix mix, etc)
What an awesome web site this truly is.
Here is one of our 3 biggest Sequoia Mists.
Tom Hill said something that stuck with me about 150 pages ago. He said something along the lines of
"Only 5 percent of seed plants have the potential to yield in the 10 pound range, and a different 5 percent have the potential to be worthy of being truly great smoke.'
Well I say, lets find that 1 % that can be both, yield 10 pounds and still be top top quality smoke covered in tasty gooey resin glands . Let's find that shit and grow it.
This may be close. Smells like a buttery, coffee almost Kushy aroma. I can't wait to smoke it.

Sorry for the ramblins. Today was hot and I'm gonna smoke a huge joint with the Ms. and listen to Bob Marley and the crickets.
Peace friends.

Mad Hemp.... i saw the same sight this morning... i am pretty close to you i think.... if you had PM i would pm you but you need a few more posts.... everything is looking good.... gonna put pics up today of mine... as its been months... also about the snakes..... i just kill them if they get the chance they will kill you and your animals....

I'm working on it! I only recently figured out that there was a correllation between # of posts and privileges. (I know that seems lame, but this is the first internet board thing I've ever been interested in) Amungst this group of contributers I always felt I had more to learn by listening.
It would definitly be cool to know someone likeminded that was local. All my growing friends are way up north. nice pic's By the way!

As for the stem wood idea, some of the T Hill stems could build an ark, seriously, that one with the bottles on it has to be 7 inches across.

Awesome pics everybody! Keep the updates going!

Localhero: Nice Kush!

Ganja D: Amazing! Does that have internal caging or support?

I'm up for the lumber contest. We'll be saving our trunks.

Hi ianSF,it has 3 types of support. Texas tomato cage, deer fencing and 3 pieces of hortinova supported by pvc hoops. We'll be adding one more layer of hortinova gently placed over the top and around the sides just in case.:)

A gooeyville slugger made out of a trunk would be epic...i dont think i will have a trunk quite big as a barrel of a baseball bat tho. But I bet the crack of the bat sounds interesting.

How long does it take guano and other top dressings to break down and become fully available?

Here's an update from the BIG FARM: The 1st pic is of a huge Mental Floss (It was 12 x 12 plus last week)... Then there's the Blue Dream... The whole blvd. is 12 feet plus; width & height... They surpassed the, "Wow those are getting BIG!" mark long ago... Now it's just downright Humbling! These girls are just beautiful...

Do the entrepreneurs here think there might be a specialty market for medical marijuana lumber? We dried a 1.5" diameter stalk and planed it down into a small board. It's stronger and denser than balsa. A few more and I'd have enough to make something. One would need a very small sawmill, but then think of the cool stash boxes and such that could be made.

The mention of balsa made me think. I fly model rc airplanes made of balsa, and wonder how heavy "marijuana lumber" is compared to balsa. Might be an interesting project, to build an airframe of "marijuana lumber".
