OPTeration Canna Coco + "The Recipe"

Yeah, those organic guys rock, but coco's so simple. The pot size thing makes a big diff. I have a few in one gallon pots that got a little too big and I can't water them enough, and a couple that never rooted into the one gallon pots enough and it can go a couple days no problem. Some that I have in three g pots I'm starting to think would be just as good in two gallons. Anyway, rambling here now.
Your plants look fantastic. did you say it's your first time?

No No, This is prolly my 8th or 9th crop. I always went with Organics and the LC's mix where you just water. But after being told so many times that PH didn't matter, it's not till I got a PH pen before I finally realized just how crappy my tap water is. That coupled with I just wanted more ease and slightly bigger yields made me choose the coco way....

Another problem I have being as it's my first time using coco, I'm going off the exact recipe rez uses, but that is based on a 63 day strain. Some of my phenos give me the idea they will be quicker then 63 days but one of the best quotes I've ever read while reading on this sight is ... "Once you think they are ready, wait a week..."

At this point in time, I'm more concerned that they finish all the way to weigh as much as they can, and that they burn smooth and all that, I could care less at the moment about the specific high....

It's kinda weird... One of my Tsi Flys' calaxys are already starting to swell but surely they gotta go longer then 50 daysish.... They are only on day 43 of 12/12, and I don't start the final flush till day 50, so I'mma just roll with it and see what happens!

I've tied up almost all the plants in preperation that they will need some support but the only one utelizing those ties is the Chunk D....we'll see!

I'll tell you one thing though hazy, i cannot wait to see how this Chunk D performs in a 2 gallon grow bag in the future!

I'll be gradually changing a few things for the better over the next few weeks...some changes are as follows....

I ordered a DR40 tent (tiny) one to act as my drying area for this upcoming harvest, then to be my mother chamber holder and seed/cutting started etc.

I will finally get a smaller tent for my flowering chamber to fit my 400 watt CMH.... for the past 2 grows I've been using a tent that is 4x4 and it's not making the most efficient use of my light coverage, so that should be a nice change. Will go with the DR(watever) ...the 3x3 one.

I will start to use Flora Kleen once a week to keep any potential salt buildup problems at bay.

And I hope to be growing from clone for the first time in a few months!

And whatever else pops up in this crazy head of mine!

Well, It's lookin like 2/3 Tsi fly plants are gonna finish on the lower end of what they say they finish. Moscas description says 55-65 days, and 2 of the 3 Tsi flys' calaxyes are HUGE already. I guess I should start the 8-10 day flush now on those right?

As far as the other Tsi fly and Chunk D, no swelling at all yet, so they look like they will get nutes for another 5 days before the flush starts!

What ya'll think?

Day 49 of 12/12

Tsi Fly untopped pheno. (getting flushed already):

Tsi fly Pheno 2: (getting flushed also)

Tsi Fly Pheno 3: (will start to flush in a day or two)

Chunk D: Will start flush in a 2-5 days..

SSSDH x G13 seedlings (small ones), ya... had to keep the light too far away from them because of space restrictions so those 3 look like dog shit, I have faith they will rebound when I can get them closer to that light!, and the Chunk D clone from above female, and a shot of one of my Sweetest Sativa (Sweet Skunk x Blueberry) gals that have been long overdo to go in the tent!:

Hey all,

If my memory serves me correctly, I'm on day 11 of my flush on the 2 Tsi Flys that seemed to be finishing faster, and day 5-6 flush on the others.

My chunk D plant started to yellow right away even after 3 days of flush, but the Tsi Flys are just now starting to yellow at the day 10-11 flush mark. Should I wait to chop them until they suck more nutrients out of themselves?

I can't find my microscope at the moment so I have no idea what the trichomes look like, but I'm just shocked it took this long to get them to start to yellow.....

Any advice?

Hey OPT.. I suggest flushin them out even more. I love the taste of properly flushed weed :)

If you don't have a microscope, take a close macro shot with your camera. then zooooooooooom in the picture on your computer.. you should be able to tell how the trichs are doing. or somewhat.. does that make sense to you?

Well,

over the past few days I made some room for my Sweetest Sativa gals. I cloned all 3 of them 2 times each a day or 2 before flower...now at like 6-7 days of 12/12 they have all stretched a ton, and I've been tieing down tops for the most part. I really like the green these plants put off, not as dark as what I'm used to!

As far as the Tsi Flys' go... I chopped one of them...the untopped plant in the growbag. She's drying as we speak.

The other 2 Tsi Fly will be getting the chop sometime this week. I want to really let them flush well. I've been using nothing but tap water with some Flora Kleen PHed to 5.9-6.0 for over a week on one of them now, and she's starting to yellow finally a couple days ago. The other one which was started flushed with my Chunk D a few days later hasn't greened at all since 2 days ago...have been away from them since then!

The Chunk D started to yellow even before the flush. I think this was due to the micro being cut out and etc. She's foxtailed even more since the last pics, which is weird...and has ALOT more purple.

The clone I took from her is striving, along with 1/3 of the SSSDHxG13 seeds I popped. I've been misting the clone, the seedling, and the clones daily so far..I hope i don't go find them croaked!

Let ya'll know later or first thing tomorrow, and hopefully get some pics!
