Hey guys, saw this thread tonight and had to post, as i can't look at my plants. Flipped my cab today as summer is coming quick.
Currently i have 1 x 85W daylight
1 x 45W cool white
2 x 20W (1 warm, 1 cool)
ordered a 250W 2700k last night and should be here in a week
then i'll just have that and my 85W.
Anyways.. in there at the moment, is the swazi mother, not so good, so i'm flowering her out, she doesn't yield too well, but she should give up quite a bit... let me show you...
This is a cola of hers, she's got about 5 weeks to go. She has been growing in the sun, and still gets some sunlight if i'm at home during the day.
One of her 4 main colas, with 3 minor ones, but enough production to leave them intact.
This is the cab as it was lights out today.
The one on the left is a mazar cross masterkush, which has been flowering for roughly 3 or 4 weeks. It will fill up quickly at the end, my mate grew this out, it is very tasty smoke, and nice high too, so should be a party round here in a month.

And this girl is going in tomorrow. i was going to put her in today, but she needed a rather lengthy hair cut.
So, i'll be joining the 'club' in a few days.. heh, come on courier!!
Awesome job with the cfl's guys, they produce some very good bud and they're just so easy. Anyways, keep up the good work, thanks for sharing the ladies

Whats up guys! Some really nice pics in the thread so far.
I´m totally gonna follow this thread! I got 2 babies(bag seeds) in my closet under a 250w blue spec. bulb. Vegging them some. they are about 2-3 weeks old.
For flowering im gonna change to my other 250w bulb with red spec. But I was wondering, I have a 150w blue spec. bulb, should i use that together with the red one? or is that just a waste of electricity? it´s my first grow, so i just wanna get it right!
Gonna get some pics up here soon to, but it´s lights out for my babies.

Hey Budwiz, personally i would use the 150 with the 250, mixed spectrum is always best, and so is having 400W instead of 250!! lolI'll be using my 85W daylight with my 250 when it arrives. Somewhat unfounded, but i do find followering under CFL's that a mixed spectrum tightens up my buds, and the blue lights helps curb some of the stretch that occurs in early flowering.

Well, it really depends on your space, and how you grow. If you're growing in SOG, which most people do, then you not want red light during the veg phase, as it will add to stretch, then when the plants are put into flower and they go through their initial flowering stretch you're going to end up with a whole lot of stem, and sparsely spaced nodes of bud.
If you're growing in a scrog, red light would be fine during veg, it may even help a bit if you're trying to fill up the screen a little faster.
But yeah, it all depends on your space and technique.

i use 125 w cfl for veg,does ok then under the hps for flower

good luck bro hope your cfls bring a nice harvest.
i often have the argument with friends about how good the cfls are but they are old school hps heads & dont buy into my rap!
i think they must enjoy high electricity bills

Here's my cambodian bush at week 7 so a little over half way done. I should've scrogged, but I had to move it a lot early on because of mites..
1 100W blue spectrum, and 4 23W Reds..I'm really impressed with everything about cfl's..the trichomes are abundant, the nugs are dense, I think it's almost a better choice than hps in small grow situations..
