Two issues

First is PM's. When I send a PM, it shows up as read automatically. I know for a fact the PM was not read.

Second is why do mods get to lock threads just because they feel the grow is unsafe? I have seen two threads locked that discussed growing in cardboard boxes. not a brillant idea but it was with CFL's. We have people asking questions about electricity, grounding, and all sorts of potentially unsafe issues. We are mixing electric and water, growing illegal plants, etc. One poster suggested grounds were unsafe in another thread

Why does one mod get to lock a thread cause he deems it unsafe?

The issue I have it sets a precedent and mods will start locking threads based on their own preferences versus the TOU. Are we going to stop the free flow of ideas exchanged here?

Actually what you dont realize is the mod that closed the cardboard box thread discussed it with other mods in the mod forum and a joint decision was made on how to proceed . Dont worry no precedents are being set except for the fact that we do not support growing in cardboard boxes as we see it as being just too dangerous to influence others to do. Yes growing does bring with it calculated risk and growing in a cardboard box does not calculate well.
Not sure whats up with your PM's ...more of a tech question... maybe someone else will come along and answer it.
