If the first 10 have sucked, are the other 4 worth flowering?

Momma had terrible bud structure, freaky stretched out ugly buds, but rock hard and finished 50 days after 12/12 flip (low yield, poor flavor, not a keeper).

Ive seen some variation within the first 10 S1's but not much, and only one with good flavor, and they are all light feeders. I doubt i could piece together a keeper, taking the best traits from these 10.

I voted to keep hope alive. Even in the worst of genetic pools, there is often at least one keeper.

You may get lucky. Worth a shot, at least.

Just noticed you are in a slightly different position having read your second comment on this subject Dr. please allow a follow up,,,,,,

Are these worth the energy and time to follow through, or is the delay in cracking or rooting a new selection just too great? Only you will know, but anything ever labeled not a keeper usually gets that moniker for a reason. Best wishes in your garden, did not originally realize the compounded situation at first glance. Sometimes a non keeper looks more like a keeper when there is nothing else around, so in this case my opinion holds little weight not knowing your garden and needs.

If they will only fill in the space otherwise un-used then have at it, however if the cost of space, time, nutrients, and energy your sweaty brow included starts to look foolish ditch them.

Pardon my misunderstanding at first, thinking this was about keeping s1 specimens for a breeding program or saving seeds or finding a mom to keep was where I thought this was. Am I correct in this is about maintaining your stash above all else? If so, by all means flower anything you can until you can replace that space with something different in hopes of finding something more appealing to your preferences. Also keep in mind that even if the end product is something you traditionally do not prefer to toke on, edibles are always a good alternative option in this case. So is making some sift or water bubble.

Here is to a smile on your face and happy gardens, best wishes.

I would give it away as a gift to a friend who doesn't have anything and a little something is better then a little nothing.

On to the next one..... might as well pop the last 4 :-s

they are popped, and ready to go to flower, Ive got 15-20 more S1 seeds that certainly wont get popped.

I wouldnt gift someone a 4-6 month waste of time.

Like i said, if i had rooted clones (from proven stock) ready to go, these girls would be deaddddddd.

actualy,,,if the mom is recessive for some desired traits,,its not a total loss,,it depends what you want from the whole thing
