what pest puts big holes in leaves, and turns buds black ?!?!

luckily only one branch affected, so i removed it...

slug, snail or caterpillar maybe ??

the rest of the plants are in perfect health, guerilla grow with no nutrients or water added...sun, wind, rain, soil !!!

those fucker worms!!

look for him in the buds, chewing away, getting baked off of your girls!

they are usually some form of moth caterpillar, but they like to sever the main stem of a bud so it'll die distal to the worms location, as they just chew away happily.

so find a black spot, get some magnifiers, and start working your way back till you find them.

I've heard of people using sonic pest repellers (like for mice and gophers), and that they also work on some types of these leaf chewing caterpillars.

i removed the whole limb of affected bud...its a guerilla and i dont swing thru often, but im tempted to monitor this. i was thinking it was a fungus perhaps ??

commonly known as the tomato worm; any bt based product will kill em if ur able to foliar where u are ever... its safe till day of harvest and organic.. compared to losing entire plants i'd spray.... actually now that i think about it u can get a product called dipel dust basically u don't need to mix with water; just dust on the plants
