wow, how much did you give her?

just curious, I would assume just a tiny bit would do for most plants, if liquid fertilizers can trigger this response.

Liquid fertilizer? No, these have been treated with STS not fertilizer.

The amount used was taken from REZ and his tutorial. I used the modified method. I am pretty sure that these mixture levels were taken from the work of Mohan Ram and his studies with feminizing.

Rick, with my F13 not reversing it changes my plans a bit. I will need to rethink what happens from here.

oops, I meant that using liquid fertilizers for some plants can trigger an intersex response.

that doesn't look right at all... haha, did you come back to your garden to see that mess? that's the sort of shit that sucks, waking up on christmas morning only to find your dad pawned the gifts for beer money.

harsh.

I have had a daily eye on them and watched her demise unfold. To be honest I was not real worried about her. The only reason I tried to reverse her was that she was so much different than her siblings. A true single cola plant that did not want to branch out at all, no matter what. I had her tied down LST for a good long time and she would not branch out even then. I finally just let her go and she straightened back up without any accompanying branching. Her sisters LST just fine and have a whole different growing structure. I was just hoping to hold on to some of the strange diversity I was seeing.

BTW, it was a multihybrid's multihybrid made by motorebel and sold by zanie. (actually was sold, as it is no longer)
It is called 'killing kush' but it has little to no "kush" lineage...lol...
It's lineage chart looks like Moses' family tree. But it is da funk let there be no mistake. :)
Even reputable breeders do a chuck now and again..and this was a chuck for sure, IMO.

Are you going to work with that F-13 line to stress it some more and see if you indeed found a true Fem? And have you messed with the F-13 plant lights after the sts treatment? This is a really interesting subject as I have a CS project in the works. Keep us updated :tiphat:

is that fan blowing in-or-out next to that F13 hooz,,,,could the airflow have anything to do with that wilt?

I have actually had the internal fan off since stamen showed. The exhaust fan next to the plant is only slightly pulling on the box. It had nothing to do with the plant's death.
I am pretty certain the sts solution killed it, but can't be for certain. There were 4 plants treated. All prepared in same pots, same medium, and fed the same. Only the one showed bad at all. It may have had a virus or something else, who knows. Looks to me like severe lockout, but the only thing that could have caused it would be the silver.

All plants were treated when placed into 12/12, and then again 14 days later.

The SBG still has immature looking stamen.

The HJ has very nicely developed flowers and will be spitting pollen any minute.

I have inspected her daily and have found no sign of male flowers. The F13 is a real she I believe.
The treatment caused her to act very weird from normal, and her flower structure is not as it normally is. It is like she skipped the first part of flower and went to the finishing foxtails.
Many times I think I see the first male flower, and a couple more pistols will pop out.
I have decided to seed her out with the HJ pollen. Should be an interesting mix.

This is her finished...

(I'm actually very excited about the f13)

Thanks HD! The plants look sweet! Just thinking out of the box here, that one that is showing weak male stamen might be a good one to cross to, as I seeing it showing more fem then male traits??? And I hope you have found the golden goose! Not just the egg in that fem! PS if any of these crosses make it to the server fund you have sold me on what to buy :tiphat: Peace and puffs

EDIT: and the F13 gives me wood...

hmm,,,sounds like she is resisting the reversal hooz,,,,the force is strong in this 1,,,,

maybe "she" needs a lil extra stimuli,,no?

id start going crazy on her,,see how far you can push her :),,,try adding silactic acid to the rootzone to boot the effectivness of the reversing agent

Thanks for stoppin in folks!

mule, I'll have to see if it will even give up any virile pollen. If it does I plan on doing an IX with it's sister, and hitting a very rich unrelated BG that I have.

rick, I have contemplated putting her through some more stress, but she is ripe for mating right now, and should put out a decent amount of seed, so I will dust her all over with the HJ.
I have her saved on many levels so I can look at her light sensitivity as well, but I suspect the same results.
I am pretty satisfied that the solution and method was sufficient to block ethylene, as evident by the other plants reversing nicely///although there was the one disaster. I have yet to figure it out other than an adverse reaction to the solution. Not sure. Not going to stress worrying and will just let that one slide for now...

I heard the lights kick on awhile ago, so I need to go check for some ladyboy yazz.
