That's what I keep asking myself : ) As weird as this might sound the best smoking strain I grew was GHS Big Bang.
The best Yielding and smoke so far was the Motarebel's Killing Kush (all my friends agreed with me) and both of those strains were up against elite genetics.

heard nothin but great things of bog genetics.. bogglegum is supposed to be a conniseur bubblegum high with commercial sized yeilds..(i beleive i have seen that it uses one of the original indiana bubblegums...may be mistaken)
also i have 5 Critical + seeds from dynafem..supposed to be mr. nice critical mass feminised..only seedlings but we will know soon...plus they were freebies when i bought bogs blue kush..waiting to perfect my setup before i pop those beans..would die if i wasted them..

I have a 3.5x3.5x3.5 box a 600 watt HPS and a few 100 watt cfls at 12k lumens each for some extra kick.

Yeah, just be careful some mersh strains aren't that good...

Island Sweet Skunk and NLxHaze are 2 I've seen yield as good as anything else (capable of producing 3lbs under 1kW) and have very good quality at the same time.

chemdog 4 D from REZ. Super potent Super yield. look it up this should be what you want!

yes also anything from rez is tip top quality smoke with nice yeilds.. chemdawg or the chem x sour deisel...seed boutique has what ur lookin for...take an hour and go through the seed list and find some descriptions you like and ask people on hear who can give info from experience..

I was total noob, when I grew Nirvana K2 back in 2003. I have not managed to get so good yield from one plant ever again even today, when I have more skills. Smoke was devastating. Even today my friends remember it. I think it was too much on sleepy side. I like more uplifting stuff. Well, if relaxation is what you seek, then K2 is respectable candidate. At that time, I believe it was knock-off from HGF K2, which is still available. There were some crazy pics in Overgrow about HGF version. Although, my Nirvana K2 looked just same.

ISS is very potent smoke. Just its a real stinker in flower and can cause some problems with odor control. It also is a sativa leaning hybrid and can take a bit longer than most to finish.

These are big top cola dominant yielders, Indica leaning and very narcotic sedative high.
LUI is well known to be a monster yielder with a knock-out Indica high with good pain relief and insomnia relief qualities. Sweet Tooth is in there and potency brought up with the Ortega Indica crossing in the LUI, the Ortega was a very old Afghani line dating back to the early days in California before everything all got crossed into each other and before the Dutch seed strains came along. It is one of the strongest strains available potency & resin wise.
