Hey IC fellows and Amsterdam lovers!
I returned from my annual Amsterdam holiday and I want to share some impressions of the trip with you...
The beginning of my first day in Amsterdam was quite dissapointing..
My favourite Hostel was full and I had to walk thru the city for about an hour, before I found a nice (expensive) place to stay. And while I was walking thru the town, I thought I should have a short break for a spliff. I went to the Homegrown Fantasy and bought some Amazing Haze....But It was absolutely crap! I rolled one up, lit the j and the taste was horrible...unflushed uncured shit, like about 40 % of the bud I bought in the Dam this time. After one hit from the j, I threw the "amazing" haze in the garbage and left the shop witout finishing the spliff. After that, I went to the Dampkring in Harlemmerstraat and bought some Mexican Haze,
but it was also a let down. I rolled up a pure spliff and it was unsmokable. It was too wet and probably unflushed. Had a nice spicy smell, but it just wouldn´t burn probably.
Next stop was Greenhouse Coffeeshop. I thought, I could score something nice there and bought some nice smellin Cheese there. As I wanted to roll a spliff, I noticed that there was some kind of fibers in it (prob. from the net of the SOG) and I tossed it,too.
I was in Amsterdam for about an hour, had spent about 30 € and was still sober...DAMN, I was pissed!
Then I went to Barneys...Though I know it´s overpriced, I usually got good quality there. But the Red Diesel was total crap, too!!! It smelled good, but was unflushed and burned to black ashes. Shame on the grower!
At this point I thought about leaving Amsterdam and never return... But then I went to my favourite place:
And bought some Casey Jones
and OG Kush 18 there.
I smoked a spliff of the casey and all my anger was blown away. Made my head spinning and I almost fell of the chair
Finally I found something burning well to white ashes.
The OG 18 was the best smoke of the whole trip!
So tasty, so special, so stoney! Loved it!
After that, I visisted the bushdocter, cause I scored awesome Amnesia over there in 08. I bought some Amnesia
and It was tasty and stony, but not as good as it can be.
I also scored Strawberry Kush (nice smell, but harsh smoke)
Kali Mist (sweaty Sativa High, nice but had much better Kali)
and OG Fire Kush (I doubt it was the real fire cut, but good smoke)
They also offered White Fire and a lot of other interesting stuff, but they only sell pre-weighed baggies and I already had quite a lot o weed, so I proceeded to the Rokery and bought some very nice
Sour Diesel
The Sour D was close to the OG 18 in quality. Very well grown! All Trichomes were intact and smell, taste and high was great!

The next day I took the tram to the Katsu Coffeeshop and bought some Black Widow, Nl Haze and Super Haze there. The Black Widow was the last bag they had and it contained mostly crumbs. Not the best quality... The Nl Haze and Super Haze were also unflushed and burned badly. Gifted the NL and Super Haze to some guys before I left and went to the
Green Place
Bought some OG Kush there, which also was a nice smoke, but not as good as the OG 18 from the Grey Area.
On my way to the Green Place I smoked some Nevilles Haze from the 420 cafe, which was ok smoke, but far away from the potency I remember from back in the days.
Though it was a funny trip, I think I will not return to Amsterdam very soon. I´ve got better weed at home than most of the stuff, that is offered there im the shops...
But of course I have to attend the ic cup one day; so Amsterdam, I will be back!
