What's new

Mr.Nice fine lineup of Sativa's...

With Neville working alongside Shanti they have apparently resurrected the classic haze genes from way,way back in 1987. I wonder if any of todays big name, mostly sativa strains around now can come close to what Shanti is working with. Would Love if anyone of you guys could name something that has a more soaring , psych like high that compares in any way, and no Sour Diesel or Chem don't even come close.

first grow with this strain in 2010. 18 of 18 germinated, 13 females. germinated 12/20/09, put 9 outside end of May 2010 here in Santa Barbara, they flowered right away. some select tops and end of branch flowers are now drying, very impressed with taste and high. strain clones easily, cuttings taken mid June are now 30 inches tall inside under 400 w metal halide, now they are mothers ready to yield many vigorous clones. a nice variety of phenotypes. will order more of these for 2011, and other Haze strains. Afghan Haze is at the top of the list for 2011. Neville and Shanti, keep up the great work.

Mr Nice doesn't sell any 100% sativa or pure Haze strains. So, I would probably look for something that is a pure sativa. Try a pure Haze like Tom Hill's Haze or maybe one of the 100% sativa strains that Ace has. That should get you where you want to be.

Hey Blizz!
I got 8 Lieu Hanh 99 seeds left... I flowered only two of them yet and I wasn´t totally happy with them. They smelled like nail polish and had an up high, but not that trippy sativa flash I had expected. Could you tell me a little more about it?! Do you have some nevilles haze or c99 dominant phenos?

Peace
Ace

hi Thunders77

i can name few which kick ass sourdiesel in psychedelic high... first: destroyer from CBG..that should be you first choice...then you should go with ACE gear like Panama for example, i grew bangi haze man and i can say you its bomb!

these guys CBG and ACE are real breeders, no joke...nothing but hard meticulous work...not just simple hybrids - one to one, but real longtime work on most of their strains...top notch sativas...and very different from so called "Nevilles genepool" hehe

Been talking to some peeps on Shanti's board that claim that Shanti sells his NHS beans to Sensi Seeds and they sell it as Jack Herer. Not trying to spread false rumors but it is something to :thinking:about...

Your quite right Bigherb, It was Super Silver Haze.

Super Silver Haze, Jack Herrer and Diesel are not different lineages, they are the same cutting!

Sam would have had the same problem as me. The seeds were very old, either nothing of consequence came up or he didn't keep cuttings of what came up.

So, it is the SSH that is the same as the Jack. He is the breeder so I believe what he says. We all knew they were, at least, related.

If y'all want something trippy from MNS, 2 I have are La Nina and especially Nev's Skunk. The Nev's is some of the strongest herb I ever had. After a 6 month cure it is almost too strong. Geeks me out if I am not ready for it!

La Nina is super pleasant, my favorite social herb ever. Certain phenos can have you seeing shit out of the corner of your eyes and shadows mindfuck ya.

was thinking of buying from Ace Seeds.....

was thinking of buying from Ace Seeds.....

.....until i read FIREofKALI'S post above. we all like what we like, but a gene pool which nurtures such negativity and disrespect is not what i am looking for. since 1987, Neville has never let me down. it was too many years i was without his gene pool. looking forward to buying more seeds from Mr. Nice.

That seems like an erroneous conclusion to come to. I too like Shanti and Neville's gear, everyone does surely, but don't think that Ace seeds have a culture of negativity - rather the opposite. They are positive folks who focus on preserving and crossing rarer landraces with less emphasis on the NL, Skunk and Haze lines, that Neville first crossed, and just about everyone since (not all) have copied.

WHAT?:noway: are you healthy man? everything allright in your life? hmm?

show me my disrespect and negativity in that post:D, i see just your negativity...i didnt say Mr. Nice seeds are junk, or did i?

guy just asked if theres something which is close to Nevill and Shanti´s work with sativas and is not derived from them, and i said that my opinion is(you dont need to agree...) that breeding work of ACE and CBG is same quality but different genetics...of course CBG used some NLhaze or NL like tool in backcrossing...

i would always prefer destroyer over sourdiesel but it doesnt mean i dont like it or dont respect it...same with ssh for example...

and in my opinion(and im sure you will not agree) youre just stupid:spank:...

hey jamieShoes:wave: i think Nevil thinks some parent of these three name lines like a cutting, like your parents are in you in some meaning...but i dunno...well im surprised theres no thread: "Is ECSD cut of SSH?" hehe:bump:

hehehee after this thread, it's only a matter of time :D

yeah I mean I'm feeling that they're the same lineage (even same parenting not just recipe), but same cutting is a bit of a stretch... if he meant specifically and literally the same plant ;)

i think he means mother of ssh, NLHazeC.. but i really dont know...theres much more he said:hotbounce lol...
