Plant is outgrowing our grow tent - What to do!

This plant started out as a mutant and we didn't expect it to get so big. The strain is "Original Haze X Skunk #1 from Sam the Skunkman" and is known to stretch like crazy. This plant has gotten taller and taller and is outgrowing the height of our hood.. For now we have it in a corner but the top is starting to get a light def. We don't want to raise the hood higher as it is perfect for all of our other plants! We have them as a perfect even canopy but with this other plant it's a big problem.



What should we do?

She is going to yield BIG but is taking up alot of the tent! The Mandala #1's are going to be out of the tent within a month which will give more room to the OH X Sk #1's but this plant is still too tall!

Is it too late to LST? I tried bending some of the branches but they break easily and it's too tall to really bend..

Any creative solutions would be appreciated

try laying her on her side,or at an angle if you have the space.
if you put her at an angle then tie the end of the plant down?

i'd agree with the rocky and milehigh , put the pot in on an angle and tie the plant with string or yoyo's
try putting a funnel in the top the pot at a straighter angle and use that to feed

So you guys are suggesting to full on lay the plant on it's side with the grow bag parallel to the ground? Watering sounds like a real bitch..

I'll try to rig something up today that makes the plant more horizontal. Hopefully I'll still have room in the tent for the other ladies

never too late for LST,just do it gentle with some TLC,she'll be fine

you don't have to lay the soil bag on its side just bend her over gently and tie the top down to something even a cinder block or something

My OH x SK1 remained very flexible pretty far into the flowering cycle, i was able to literally tie the branches in knots, I think you could still LST if you act fast. Bend slowly, you can feel in the branches how willing the plant will be to cooperate, just go slow and you'll be fine.

This was my OHSK1, it responds exceptionally to LST, you're in for a long ride mine took nearly 20 weeks from showing sex.

7 day veg, that plant pictured was like 4" tall when I flipped to 12/12
yield was 3.25+ oz
Yep like 20 weeks flower
as far as shaping her now play with the branches a little and do what she lets you do. You just gotta get a feel for how flexible she is. Just be aware she might be shorter once you tie her down she probly be twice as wide.

Doable, but you risk adding a week or more onto flowering time.
