Yes you and I are on the same page and I do understand what you are saying.

I used to smoke after work. I never wanted to smoke before work. I am the hard working serious dedicated type of employee. That's my nature and as you read it is reflected in my opinion. I am not everyone.

I sure mean no disrespect to you.

When i was a Union Steward at this last job. I managed to save two men's jobs with the defence that they didn't "get high" at work.. It was effective in getting them drug treatment rather than getting them fired for a positive test.
They didn't even know each other was a toker and they sorta hatred each other on the job until the accident.. They became good friends after.

I guess my mind found some point of defence for my people in light of a drug policy

It was a minor incident. One was moving material with a 5 ton crane and the other was hit by metal that fell from the load. He had a cut to his arm as he tried to deflect the falling metal. The rules stated both people had to be tested.
His cut did need stitches.

So that tells you a little more about my mind. I am happy to share with you. I don't want you to think badly of my motives.

I think walmart should take the proper corporate response and offer him the opportunity to be the new corporate manager or a brand spanking new walmart which will hire its upper staff from non medical users and then hire the remainder on a case by case basis giving the preference to a disabled or mmj whos qualifications make them an equal choise . So in otherwords a store run by medical users and other disabled and able bodied workers to see if it runs at a marked difference in productivity and if it does they can always replace the poorer employees with more experienced workers. I have waited a lifetime to see a store run by little people and not just a store a big store

The proper corporate response is to spin it as a non-issue. Yours seems equally inept...

Why don't you add some monkeys to your scientific test as well. They could play the greeters. If you are going to rig the game, you might as well go all out...

You must be really bored to dream of fictitious Mega-Stores. Seems like you need to set your horizons a little broader, as your definition of little people (i.e. "medical users and other disabled") appears quite different than most...

I have to say work isn't the place to party.

didnt seem like a party, maybe medicating... what bout taking pharmecuticals(tylenol) and working. is that partying? who is walmart to decide what he can or cant do to ease his pain in a ...legal medical state. cmon walmart looking out for its customers? if weed was legal walmart would be selling it.

Screw Wal-Mart and all they stand for.

Discrimination, favoritism, exporting good jobs overseas to countries where children and near slaves are over exploited....need I say more.

Keep buying their cheap foreign goods, maybe the next job you vote to export with your wallet might be your own.:moon:
