Free Airfare and hotels to the IC420 cup!

I was sitting around thinking of how we can get more people to the 420 cup and give more exposure to ICMAG and it's sponsors. I had this idea that people can send in beans to seedbay and sell them for $10-$20 as bins. The people who buy the bins are entered into a raffle. All the money is set aside for hotel rooms for some, flights for others and so on. I've never been to the 420 cup and a lot of people that I talk to haven't been there either, but this can be a way to get some of those people there.

I myself am going no matter what this year, my girlfriend as well. I have a houseboat picked out and I am renting it in October, that way I have to go! I actually have the whole trip priced out and saved on my desktop, I will be there!

I am not thrilled about flying overseas. I have made the trip across the pacific a few times but lately I am not to sure how well maintenance has been going on aircraft. If they are cutting peanuts I would hate to guess what else, and I don't want to find out over the Atlantic. I will just have to do like normal, chug some nyquil and wake me up when we get there. Can't be a recluse my whole life just because the plane might plunge into the ocean....

I have a crop planned out for the growers cup this year, I hope to see everyone there!

The seedbay staff can give every buyers user name a raffle ticket with your seed order and then they (seedbay) have a raffle and pull the tickets out of a container. Depending on how much money goes into the pool, regulates how many people get chosen. For example, if they sell 500 packs of donated beans for $15, that would be $7500 that goes into the pool which would be like 8 plane tickets and a bunch of hotels for people. Think about it like the poker tourneys that they have before the world series that gets a lot more people and money to the world series. This would get some more people to go and then there friends would be more likely to pay some money to get their own tickets and such. As far as the donated beans go, I'm sure there's plenty of people with a lot of F2's and crosses that would love to donate them to the cause, I know I would. Then you'll also get people that don't even want the beans but they want to donate to the cause to help some people out, I know I would be buying them to help out.
