I reuse my soil and thats what I started with about a year ago.Since then ive added bone meal, blood meal, and kelp meal along with mushroom and bark compost.I allways atleast add some topsoil to it.And like has already ben said...I add lime.

this soil mix works great for reusing soil, its from the organics for beginners thread:
Three Little Birds Method
40 gallons used soil
4 cups alfalfa meal
4 cups bone meal
4 cups kelp meal
4 cups powdered dolomite lime
30 pound bag of earthworm castings . . .
That’s the basic recipe . . .
However we also like to use
4 cups of Greensand
4 cups of Rock Phosphate
4 cups of diatomaceous earth
heres the thread:

I would add some Azomite/glacial rock dust/lime..

ewc..

It also depends on what you feed it during the grow..

I would just give it the basic building blocks, and start feeding compost teas..

i had the best results i ever had with ffof fresh but on reuse ive found that if u treat it like lcs mix #2 with lime being of the utmost importance cuz when i didnt relime i had major issues with calcium deficiency and mag. i lost an ak clone that just seemed to shrivel up after about 10 days veg

well only FF will know the exact amount to add back but why use something that will only feed a plant for a month or so? I re-used my FFOF using the 3LB method and I am just now having to really feed them...just let it cook off for 2-3weeks before planting in it cause the roots will get wrecked...d.lime is definitely needed or your could use gypsum to get the Mag in the mix too.
