another carbon filter question

i cheaped out and saved a bundle on a carbon filter. i'm pretty close to being able to clear the room in two minutes. but, the filter i got had a typo or something and read 21# carbon, in reality there is 7.6. needless to say it's not doing so great. can anyone point me to a tried and true brand of filter? it would be most appreciated.

thought it would be relevant, my can 50 came in today. within minutes of being hooked up, garden odors went bye bye.
