i looooove good outdoor!

there are a few spots i go to that always have stuff that looks very very outdoor, it's usually cheap too! and i usually prefer it to much of their over priced indoor grown under 1k lamp og/kush/buzz hype word/blahblah

man i wish it was possible in my situation to do outdoor, different strokes for different folks i guess, hope you can off your outdoor you're left with!

Its because so much bullshit outdoor goes around that people have learned to not even look at it unless it is cheap.If a person sells weed and the person buying it can tell that its been grown outside and that isnt on a positive note....there is a problem.People dont like picking pickers out of their weed.

But if they cant tell I wouldnt tell them.If its a good strain of weed grown properly thats all they need to know.You give them that you are being honest.

the outdoor og still goes for 5k+ per pound back east. the indoor goin for 5.5-6k+ for the indoor og fire.

a caregiver i know grows outdoor

she claimed to be getting 200/oz. for this stuff, i was gifted a few grams of it, it was very strong and had an amazing taste, but man i picked 2 aphids out of it, several half moldy remnants of fan leaves, i don't even know how many spider mites, i had a real hard time believing she was getting 200/oz for it...stuff kicked your booty though

funny, i grew one of the same strains inside, mine looked prettier, but nowhere near as powerful as hers, mine did taste much smoother though

i have had some amazing cali outdoor grown. in fact i found it to be better tasting, better smelling, and a better high than some of that dispensary shit. just smoked some outdoor pot of gold and it went on my top ten list for best weed i've ever seen. i have had dozens of strains indoor grown from a good tahoe dispensary and i like the outdoor better. all around i think the sun makes bud smell and taste better than any light ever could. i have no sience to back up my claims, but i do believe this to be true.

wow whoever grew the POG outside was pretty ballsy. I had trouble keeping that thing mold free indoor with RH around 45%. POG is a lovely smoke plus its one of the better yielders I have come across. Just gotta watch out for those foot long spears that are rock solid.

Don’t forget perception it has a lot to do with that. Look at brand label clothes every single brand is made in the same place the only difference is the designer. Period that’s it and people will pay $100 bills for a shirt made in Bangladesh the same as my $15 dollar shirt but it has that label.

Don’t try and reason with this shit it's impossible. Shoes are the same thing 99% are all made in the same place yet NIKE is better than JC Penny’s? of course not its all about the design the shoes are still punched out by a 5 year old kid somewhere in China.

I can't tell you how many times I have brought this up here and to guys I hang with. They pull out some $50/ 1/8th of weed show me and say check this out. I smoke nothing but fat joints but he said lets put some in a clean glass pipe. Guess what they guy looked at me and said my outdoor was better. Doesn’t matter he would never pay me $50 /1/8th for my outdoor like I said it’s a label thing “indoor” is the brand label.

On the other hand
Now lets be fair and honest I was smoking some of my outdoor had no idea which plant, what part of the plant (popcorn or top cola) but it was damn good. Pulled some of the same weed out of the same bag and although the potency was the same the taste wasn't.

In my opinion most of the indoor I have seen the buds are usually equal all the way through.

Why? They usually keep the popcorn trimmed up and all buds get same light so they are relative similar. Now unless you are a backyard grower that’s not the norm for Guerrilla growers. We have too plants and many other things to worry about. All the weed goes in one pile weighed and packaged.

End point is outdoors better than indoor hell no it’s basically the same but how many people wear JC Penny’s tennis shoes vs. NIKE? Ask yourself that question next time you have this discussion. And stop worrying about calling your weed indoor vs. outdoor. It’s called marketing not lying.

we also both have the same thai going right now, an afghan x lowryder #2 that she created by pollen chucking, and blue dream too...will be fun to compare those when they're done!

man, it's a forest where she is, it's just so beautiful...my little 18" x 32" by 5' high cabinet is beautiful too, but man it's nothing like walking outside and just being surrounded, can't fricking believe it

supposidly it comes from a pretty large farm in chico, and the dude has just about any strain you could want all outdoor. it was dense, rockhard, and there was no beginning or end to the buds. just solids nugs of greatness. this guy has been doing the outdoor thing since the 80's in one form or another. i've never been allowed to the farm, but i have been in his storage room. it was probly the best moment of my life. he has lots of help and everything i've got from him was top notch. never mold, never bugs, never anything but crystal covered rock solid nugs of glory. i get chills just thinking about it.

Yes it's mainly about bag appeal and aroma at the dispensaries for market. Same thing applies to black market but at the dispensaries you have lot more choices to pick from so the competition is very fierce. I was offered few hundreds over 4k a lb for my stuff last year by few of top dispensaries in LA. I don't know about this year, I would assume that price is dropping rapidly. In nutshell... I really think it doesn't matter on whether if its outdoor or indoor. What matters is grower's skill, genetics and the environment. Out of them all.. genetics would probably be the most important factor.

It's a very expensive pastime for the consumer and the grower who has to deal with the law. Everybody doesn't have the chance to try multitude number of cannabis and really understand the purpose of it. In general.. the mass are dumbed down from chemicals in water and food and systematic failure of education. I believe that cannabis can totally reverse the trend because it enlighten people and that is priceless to me!

I disagree. My experience tells me otherwise. It's all about your price. If you don't have bag appeal or smell you strike out immediately. If you have both and your price is not low enough, strike out.Most dispensaries I have gone too and I will name em if I have to, do not care about how the bud smokes. They don't care if its flushed or even if its organic. All the buyers care about is if it looks right and the price is right.The strain is important sometimes. If its name brand and low price,sometimes smell and looks are not so important as price. The buyer will take it cause of the price, even if its name brand SWAG. This has been my experience at most of the dispensaries I know of. It's a business after all and they have a bottom line,lol
I wanted to say, I have worked for 4 different dispensaries in L.A. and personally know the owners of 5 more. They are all the same. It's all about the MONEY.
I am a medical patient myself. I grow for myself and other patients in my collective. I am completely turned off by my experiences with 90% of dispensaries and collectives. Nothing but shiester A$$ dealers masquerading as Compassionate caregivers. I honestly feel disgusted by my experiences and now understand(for the first time,EVER) why the "man" wants these dispensaries shut down. We need more honest , compassionate, loving caring people to run dispensaries, not the current crop of gangsters.
