floramite sc covers like 8 different types of mites. a very tiny bottle goes for about $20 on ebay, and will last you a long time. hit them up every month and you'll be ok.

just an update: decided to get scorched earth since im in veg still. cleaned every nook and cranny, bleach down every drain,did a soak in imid (bayer advanced) 5 days ago. sprayed with floramite 2 days back. plants look great, no sign of mites or bugs of any kind. figure im in the clear going into flowering. I may follow up with another miticide (judo) in a few days...thanks again to all who jumped on my question!
Where did you find the Judo? I found an 8oz bottle for around $350 online. Forbid is the same stuff and alot of hydro shops have it. I bought a 1/2oz for maybe $25 and that makes alot at .6ml / gallon. It would probably be a big waste of money to buy 8oz of either one, you could never use it all. Although you could make some $$ selling it by the oz on ebay

i emailed ohp and the rep sent me a list of suppliers here in the PNW. the bottle was $335 but our co-op can share it around between 6 people, so its not too much. you are right the bottle makes 400-800 gallons of spray...lets see : i use 3- 4 gallons of spray and will do that mebe once a year?...so if i hog it all myself, it should last me a hundred years! doh!
o well... gotta cycle miticides if you dont want superbugs.

you should just follow up with the floramite in 28 days. you'll be golden.

wow, im itching all over seeing those critters. actually those look more like em than any other thing i've seen. i saw nothing on roots like that, but the speed with which they scurry and the general appearance is close. but those "root aphids" look a bit bigger than my bugs.
I did read that "root aphids" only reproduce sexually until they have an established population. then the females CLONE THEMSELVES, into smaller and smaller versions...creepy huh?
whatever they WERE they are gone. i have poured over all my Veg and flower rooms, and spent many an hour in sativa induced meditation (staring at the plants without moving until i hallucinate something, that turns out to be a speck of coir).
Something killed em....thats for sure.
