Need help selecting males.

Hello breeders,

I have 2 males and 3 females. The males showed sex around the same time in june, but one began flowering late july. The other has yet to release any pollen. I am collecting the earlier male's pollen, but have since read that early flowering males can be poor breeding candidates. I had planned on collecting both males' pollen and pollinating my 3 females with them, but now I'm wondering, should I toss the earlier male's pollen and only use the later male's pollen?

I got the seeds from a guy claiming to be a "breeder" in Progressive Options. They were labeled Mother Jones, and I haven't been able to find any info on it. I can only guess that it is Mothership x Casey Jones, but I have no real idea what the lineage is. They are sativa dominant for sure with slender leaves.

Thanks for the help,

UB

why not use both males? maybe pollinate different branches so you can keep the seeds seperated, that way when you grow the seeds you can see what male was best

The early male may have autoflowered- which is probably why most don't recommend the first to flower...

When in doubt, choose the most vigorous male.

Kudos for making the seeds!
