PHONE TAPS

Got busted in 81 for using my phones which were tapped.Myself and four others went to jail for three yrs....They cops) recorded 2600 calls and used 68 in court. My lawyer called the 68 calls the greatest hits.Never once was drugs mentioned...we had a biased jury and we lived in a hick town. When raided no one had any drugs...af had goten busted with a suit case full of hash a few months prior to our being charged. The fellow who was busted originally called one of us and soon everybody was calling other ppl as it was big news back then...We got a bad break and all found guilty....btw it was the most expensive trial ever in the area where we lived. The cops told me later if they knew how long it was going to take and cost then they would,ve left us alone.
It is a lot more difficult to get a tap on your phone these days...but as I said back in 81 it was easy for the cops to get one.

Im not trying to argue but you dont have to do anything big to get your phone tapped.

no worries, not speaking for the FEDS, but in most cases its cheaper and easier to just pull someone over than to try to piece together bits and pieces from a wire tap. it is extremely expensive to operate a wire tap, and most police forces are laying off officers at the moment. So to bring a wire tap request to a judge they are going to have to prove to him its worth the money to go after this person. generally speaking of course if a judge will give them a warrant they will be all ears. wire taps are usually one of the last things they try to do if they are trying to bust someone, to get a warrant they have to prove they have exhausted all other options

metro PCS...phones for dealers. you can use a fake name and they never ask ID. when i get my burners usually sometimes the number was used by previous criminals. il get texts for prostitutes like "yo girl you working tonite" lol.

either those or prepaids work good.

I wonder if email communication is any safer? Everyone has smart phones theses days with internet access.

i wonder about that too. its real easy to make a decoy email address and who the hell is scanning that shit for casual drug talk. the only way i can see them getting you through emails is if they seize your computer and see what your cookies are. but arent there ways that all your saved passwords and usernames get deleted. my friend installed some shit on my computer which makes me "invisible" on forums, and it also deletes all my cookies. i have to log into ICMAG everytime i use it, instead of it being saved. and when i type in Y into the username section, it doesnt bring up the SN Yes4Prop215...so am i safe?

Shit happens for sure. Feds seem to have some powerful tools at their disposal, wheher you'd ever hear about it in court, probably not unless they set you up with a snitch. After our bust some years back all but one of our crew disappeared from sight, one of my buddies started living at his house after a couple weeks of motel hopping. Definitely seemed that they were able to figure out our new numbers and on more occasion I got followed to some out of the way places, they weren't even very sneaky about it 1-2 cars behind and right behind me on 2 lane roads, totally thought I was about to get swooped. Later the dea agents said the irs was fighting them for our case. Had federal marshals (that's what the little badge said) posted up a couple blocks away from my newly rented anon appartment for hours I rented during my "off the grid" phase. Walked my dog right by them and they packed up and left, right afterwards wierd stuff.

For growers, I think phone taps are the least of your worries. Obviously if they know enough about you to have your phone #, they know your comings and goings. All they have to do is see you go to the same place once in a while, pull the electric record and get a warrant.

Judges will issue a warrant based on anything.

Wire taps are the least of your concerns unless dealing with a large group and pushing weight

BTW, Payphones DO work. And you may be using them more often if this goes through

LEt me tell you how to get the perfect burner.

T-Mobile flex pay. Just walk right in and say you need a flex pay account. They will make you fill out your information. You can literally write down anything. They will say do you have any ID, just say no, and then they will just use the information on the paper and you will be walking out with a brand new sim card and number for 50$

Problem solved

here is over 700 page affidavit that goes into detail all the tapped conversations and the officers giving their interpretation of what the code talking meant.

This all started off with just one guy that was just movin only a small amount.

This shows how they go about getting probable cause and just what lengths leo will go to.

very interesting stuff.

thanks for that link...LEO used some interesting tactics there. first they used remote cameras...so much for loooking out for an undercover car. now i gotta walk up and down my street looking for cameras.

also, even though they used burners they still got their taps up quickly. and its scary how this all came from a small fish. that means any little OZ dealer is a liability to his dealers dealer.

gotta up the game. definately stay off phones and texts for sure.

Indeed.

The burners were registered w/ fake names... evidenced by the Metro PCS subpoenas. Didn't really matter... taps still went up. They switched up the #'s frequently. Didn't matter... as the CI routinely updated the feds w/ the new #'s.

Not to mention, they pulled info on everyone he was talking to via the phone. Anyone talking to David Cole on the phone was under suspicion.... a fake subscriber name may provide some insulation, but for how long?

You could register the phone to Santa Claus, but when a CI is fingering you in front of feds it don't really matter.

Don't talk on the phone. Period. Pay attention to who you deal with. Your boy acting nervous all of a sudden, using phrases he's never used before.. might not just be his syphilis acting up. He could be playing ball for the other team.

I find it hilarious that David Cole is listed as a white male after reading some of the conversations first.
"Yo nigga"
"Whats up cuz"
"Shit just chillin man"
"True, true"

hahaha I thought he was for sure black...until he started talking about chemistry exams

there seem to be many different opinions on this subject. but what about the people that live in gang areas. where i live your lucky not to have some sort of police interest at all times. i feel the po dont really bother me cuz i cause no trouble. but i dont doubt they have my photo and line tapped. im jus kept safe by the fact they are paying attention on crack dealers and cop killers oh and black guys ( you know how federalli roll ) they keep an eye on everybody so they can draw up what is going on as far as gang structures are changing. and if you live in the area your suspect

haha so every time you need to make a shady call you just swap out sim cards and thats it? So no credit checks, no contracts, nothing? YOu just go in there with cash and pay up front for as many minutes as you want?

I always figured that you shouldn't talk on the phone because the person you are talking to could be recording you, regardless of whether the FEDs are listening.
