Help, Broken Branch 13 Weeks Into Flowering

Whats up everyone at IC Mag. I have a problem. One of my main branches broke because of bud weight. I tied it up and it looks to be in ok shape. My question is will the buds from that branch still grow healthy and keep packing on weight ? Also if it heals well, how long will my plant be stressed ? Does this delay flowering even though it is almost finished ? The strain is hawaiian snow from greenhouse seeds. Any good info is appreciated. Thanks in advance to those that respond.

duct tape !!!!j/k but you coould use any tape cloth or string . you have to just support it and get injury as closed up as possible -back in place and hopefully it will hardly notice , although of course you are going to have a reduced yeild but not greatly -hopefully!!! alot of times its worth it to beef up Y-branching area's so u dont get the big split- and when training to avoid this ever happening again train/bend your main y's early and do a crossover bending technique it will also allow for bottom /lower branches to catch up and evens out canapy!!!

It should be ok.. keep it propped up until it strengthens itself, ive had it happen before, branch continued to live, buds continued to grow, all was ok.

cheers

Happens all the time, as long as the branch is still connected by a decent amount of the cambium (bark) it'll carry on getting all it wants

Some of my best buds have been on broken branches

It'll be fine. Some people have reported getting larger buds on branches above a big break, s'posedly something about increased auxins. I've broken quite a few in my day, but I've yet to see it make a bud bigger. In any case, as long as theres enough connection to prevent wilting, you're good.

Split the tube that a tampax comes in and tape both sides around the branch like a splint, it will be fine. You may have to cut the tube in 1/4s if the branch is small.
