Question about drying QWISO in the sun?=very light amber powder?

Ok, heres the question friends:

Alright very new to QWISO. Tried two types of drying techniques, first technique tried was sun drying small amounts of the alcohol disolved solution in the sun in glass plates

the sun turned it bright amber color I mean as blonde as blonde can be with almost an unbelievable neon amber color!!!! when scraped it was 100 percent dry powerder, that was beyond beyond full melt!!! bubbled and left absolutely no trace it would clean the screen!! It was bright amber pink actually and was very light and fluffy powder.

then using the same method, it was dried a larger amount dried using a hotplate, which resulted in the standard dark brown/amber undertones type carmel stuff!!!

My question is what is better, I mean can you melt down the amber powerder into like clear amber hash? or is the thc damaged by the sun? I guess it would be damaged by the heat anyhow but kind of insignificantly so it seems?

any thoughts on which is better way to prepare medicine?

well seems to me if you tried both methods your the one best suited to answer??? how they smoke??
personally i do small batches on a metal plate over a pot of simmering water i find the water insures things dont get too hot and burn. in fact just finished up a bit and smokin a j . the purge is a tricky process my rule of thumb is when i recon its done keep stirrin for 15 min because it probally isnt done yet. my oil generally pretty dang hard and clear and hell of a smoke!!

Peace

yeah you would think I would know LOL, to be honest it would probably be best if the amber blonde powder could be melted into a glob of some sort, havent tried it yet. the powder is so light it

Also what is Budder, like whats done to Oil to make Budder?

thanx

This is because when you have a small amount of QWISO it usually ends up with the sticky powder consistency as opposed to evaporating a larger amount where you get the oil/shatter consistency. This goes for the color as well the condensed oil is usually a bit darker than the stuff you scrape up when you evap a small amount.

Most or all terpenes in the plant, and THC, are not solid. BTW pure-to-high-% THCA is solid with no stickiness. And has some color, commonly yellow. And is convenient to smoke in that form.

i made some QWISO and i decided to try and just let it dry.

When it did, it wasent even like oily, it was like the powder shit you said, and it tasted like chem bad. Idk if it was salvageable, but i just chunked it

EDIT: I usually do a double boil and get sick QWISO for the record

The extract that I smoked, containing probably only cannabinoids, in their acid form, did have a different taste and odor than anything. But not unpleasant.

It looked crystalline on the plate and at first when scraping it up, but it quickly became a fine light tan powder. I think delta-9 THCA is more amorphous than the purified enzyme shown above that produces it.

The liquid extract using alkane solvent is a lovely rich yellow. This yellow color is nicely transferred to lye along with THCA when the nonpolar is shaken with it. Maybe the color is a slight impurity, if I could find UV-Vis absorption spectra of THCA anywhere maybe I could say.

A friend of mine has been playing around with this, and if you get it out of the sun just when it is drying, not quite powder but almost it scrapes in thin paper like crystal sheets, and/or that dry amber light powder. My friend has pressed this together, without any heat, just a bit of pressure, at all the results were good, imho. kind of like chunky block of pure amber crystals very very easy to manage and contain, it clinks like a rock when you drop it on a table. so very easy to transport and when heated at all even changes to dark liquid oil. He's going to try boiling down to a syrup and then allowing it to air dry. Too rainy sometimes anyways :) <

By the way I have never seen or come in contact with any type of marijuana product in my life. Where I live nobody ever uses that stuff, its VERY uncommon !! :)
My friend is a medical patient in Colorado and has a license to do this from the government, he is also a doctor, and a tenth degree blackbelt, highly qualified. I have only heard stories of the results through my coorespondence with this person, who lives high in the mountains and never shaves. Unfortunately I have not been able to see this firsthand as in my area this is not yet legal, and I do not engage in any Illegal activities!!! never have, and never will!! Its part of my upbringing, and part of my great education that I received for 18 years from my country which I greatly appreciate!! I patiently and lovingly await for my governemnt to pass the appropriate laws. :abduct:

I've noticed the same thing if you put the oil in the freezer after the alchy has evaporated. I think it has to do with it being drier, and in my case also colder.. Also, when drying on the stove or electric hotplate it is easy to burn the oil, thus giving a darker appearance. When I make oil I evaporate it slowly on the stove using a pyrex baking pan, low heat where it barely bubbles, then put it in the freezer. Sometimes it comes out as a tan almost white crystally fluffy powder and hits like no other...roll that shit in a ball and it looks like the center of a whopper!

Also what is Budder, like whats done to Oil to make Budder?

To my knowledge Budder is just oil(typically BHO from what I've heard) that is whipped(aerated) until it changes from the amber rock hard looking stuff to a more "handable" form that almost looks like caramel. As far as I know it is basically just BHO with air in it. I've never done this myself though so I am not speaking from experience.
Hope this helps:)
