Coco vs soil feeding question

Making the transition to coco, and so far so good.

I was wondering why is it in coco I can feed everyday and not even have to flush, or only flush once a week.

But in soil I can only feed every other watering or risk nute burn?

because soil has the nutrients needed for the plant to survive. in coco the only way the plants get the nutrients needed is when you water(feed) them.

thats basically the noob answer to your question. someone else will probably chime in shortly with a better answer.

Yes. but the soil is constantly breaking down and making more and more nutrients available to the plant
