cut the long flowering one now; to make more room for the other ones... just kill em... crop the others when they r ready and take all ur equipment to a secure location; tent and all; dry em in a diff location; minimize the risk to u... kick ur buddy down whatever u agreed to and end the partnership and start saving for ur own spot

YES!

Honestly, cut your loses, and while you are probably not looking at police knocking down your door at 2am tomorrow, I think it would be prudent to finish the Mandala and cut all growing ties. When you are ready, get your own place.

Opt1c is wise!

IMO : opt1c has similar thoughts to me .... and end the partnership on a good note. If that means you take a hit to your wallet for a little extra, so be it. Lesson learned. Learn to take secrets to your grave.... IMO no partnerships.

All i can say is follow your instinct but keep in mind there is a difference b/w instinct and paranoia. An associate of mine was talking like you are now a couple of weeks ago. I gave him this same advice. I told him to follow his instinct and that I didn't like one of his gardeners b/c he walked and talked like somebody waiting to get F'ed. He mistook his instinct for paranoia and sure enough, SWAT raids the op house. I'm not telling you this to scare you but to make a point of deciphering between paranoia and instinct. Take from it what you can...
Rule #1 your grow room is on a need to know basis and NOBODY needs to know. Considering that so many people do know, you have a lot of liabilities to think about. ask your self, Do those liabilities and risk outweigh your potential payoff? If so, option 2 for sure.

I wouldn't even consider option 3 because what if your buddy got busted? You will have a guilty conscience of a friend that you helped put in slammer and you will have taken a loss of your equipment. + your finger prints are all over the place if they offered your buddy a plea bargain for a reduced sentence and he sold you down the river. Also, what if your buddy felt a sense of proprietorship and decided to short you out of the plant? Happened to a friend of mine when he left the state and asked somebody to plant-sit for em. That is all hypothetical but they are definitely possibilities that I personally am not willing to risk.

If you feel comfortable enough to wait for the mandala to finish, then i agree entirely what opt1c said :yeahthats keep your distance until then like milehigh said.

Get rid of that 16 week bullshit. Definitely not worth having in your garden, sorry. I gave a pack of those away as soon as I got them.
Funny cuz I gave those beans away as well. I don't like thai's because they are too stretchy and give you super wispy yields. If you want a good haze high then go for Team Green Avenger's JACK THE RIPPER (JTR) 8 week haze strain that has a smell that reminds me of jack herer.

Growing is one of those things that requires patience and planning. Obviously this wasn't planned very well (no offense). Cut your loses and wait for your time to come when you can do this solo and proper. Too many hands and you get F'd because two is a crowd and three is company. Hope that helps and good luck bro

I tried to put myself in ur shoes but ultimately the decision is up to u man.

I had a similar deal worked out with 2 other guys, we had a deal worked out the home owner got 50%+ expenses and he got my experties since he knew jack. 1 month before harvesting the babies (24 plants flowering 4 quite large talking about a lb of bud min from this) he asks me for 300-400 more because he let it leak. I saw it comming either way by the way he acted weeks prior. I came in one day to do regular work spiked all the plants with a super cocktail of fers clipped about 10 clones and took 5 veging plants packed up all my lights and equipment that wouldnt be noticed at first glance and all essentials and never looked back.
If you feel your going to get jacked go with the gut, clip early make some hash or something and cut the losses. Do what you think is best man

Taking into account that you are most likely under 23 years old, I would grow out the crop and finish it, then take the profits and finagle a way to buy your own spot and do it yourself. Expenses add up and splitting a few 1000's between you guys for the risk that is being taken amounts to a regular job. Partnerships are hard to maintain in this business, even when you are really good friends. I lost a lot of friends when I had partnerships.

First of all, relax. If you could get convicted without evidence by someone else's testimony alone no one would ever go to jail, because they'd always be testifying that someone else did it. (Think about it... "naw dude, that 8k setup in the garage isn't mine, like... my boy dropped by, and set that up... that's like his bro... i'll totally testify that he did it all, i was like... in the other room... makin pancakes, this ain't on me!")

The lease is NOT in your name. The bills are NOT in your name. You don't even live there!

If you walked away right now there's nothing they could ever do to you... UNLESS: They have solid evidence that this was "your grow". Even if they had pictures of you with the grow... that only proves you know about it, not even that it was yours. The cops would already have to be watching you for this to turn ugly. Or... if you bought all the equipment on your credit card, that could be a slight hitch. But even then, they couldn't prove that you didn't buy it and then sell it to your boy. Truth is, if anything goes down, your boy's fucked. You're clean as a whistle.

My advice: KEEP YOUR DISTANCE until the mandala gives a nice, timely harvest. Get rid of that 16 week bullshit. Definitely not worth having in your garden, sorry. I gave a pack of those away as soon as I got them.

Another thought... you obviously live in a med state if your buddies girl's dad is a med grower. What are you worried about with a DR150 and 1000 watts? You ain't stuffin' any turkey's with a DR150, sorry.

Bottom line: You're fine, just be very, very cautious. (and stop smoking weed for a minute, that anxiety/paranoia shit gets in my head too sometimes. can't count the number of beautiful ladies i've cut and trashed on a whim)

I agree, you are clean. They can cry till they are blue in the face about you, but there is nothing that ties you there.

I suggest harvesting what you can in the next few weeks, then shutting down and finding a new spot a little more secure

I agree with about posters that it would be pretty hard to tie you to the grow and prosecute you based on the fact that your name is on nothing. But at the same time, I would personally have a guilty conscience if I let my buddy take the fall for everything if something did go down.

I would personally just cut it down and make BHO or bubble hash or something. Better to wait until you can get somewhere safe where only you know then wind up getting screwed before hand.

Good luck!

If nothings in your name, and your going to be out of country for harvest, stick it out..With a good wipe down of the place b4 you go. Have your friend that lives at the house change your contact in his cell phone for your name...what I mean is ..change your name in his cell. Just de-tach yourself as much as possible..5 people knowing is just too many man, next time..just you.

Take care

I wouldn't even worry about it. They can't prove that you're a partner. Remember it's not what they know, it's what they can PROVE. If there is no paper-trail leading to you who cares? Them saying you were involved doesn't mean it's true.

one suggestion, could you gift the house owner with the skunk x haze?
he becomes a vested partner, or give them to your friend, maybe a split between the 2 of them

time for a fire sale.

you have compromised your security no matter what justifications or mitigating circumstances exist the simple fact remains the sirens are blaring and the red lights are flashing the loud speaker is blaring "SECURITY HAS BEEN BREECHED LOCKDOWN WILL INITIATE IN T. MINUS 60 SECONDS."
they may not be able to tie you to the grow...but again "SECURITY HAS BEEN BREECHED LOCKDOWN WILL INITIATE IN T. MINUS 59 SECONDS."

He couldn't have waited another day.

Obviously, his fascination with purple is related to his early exposure to his daddy's superficial dorsal vein.

Sad really.......
