trying to stay warm......

so i live in a cold climate in a very old house that does not have individual thermostats for each room (oil heat by the way). my question is , can any body recommend a space heater for a grow room? btw 10 x 12'

i would prefer one with a growers recomendation behind it but check this thing out. you really cant beat a digital setting.

hell no add lights and use their heat.find a way to utilize the heat from the ballasts and lights.no way a waould waste over 1000 watts for heat usually 1200 to 1500

Where do you live, Antarctica? Use the heat from the lights.

but the lights are off for 12 hrs during flower.. the heater would just kick on during lights off, that model i show'ed a pic of has a timer....any way do you guys think it would be okay if the room dipped down under 59 degree f at night and do you think the heat from 1 1000w hps would keep the whole room warm?

Yeah use the lights and get emergency blankets to put around the room for more insulation. If you can do more insulation and then get a heater. Everything you do will make it better.. Make sure the plants are not on the floor..peace out Headband707
