BE WARNED!!

There shit sucks. It is not organic, and I agree that they do try to portray their shit as organic. Also I used their soil one time, and it burned the shit out of my plants. Straight killed the motherfuckers. I will never buy one of their products again.

all i'm sayin is- google "fox farm" and see what words they use to sum up their company
:beat-dead

Guy the other day you were talking about growing in the day time to avoid flir detection. A little more time researching shit and you won't make a fool of yourself.

Why is everyone so angry at this guy?

If you think his post is stupid then don't respond. i'm sure everyone here has made a similar mistake in the beggining.

Some people don't have the time to spend their whole lives on this site researching everything and making a thousand posts about nothing but those who do are generally bitter....

Yeah new friend.. You are off on a bad footing.

You made a mistake and so be it..

Do you compost? I can set you up with a simple soil mix that will be as good as anything we can buy and it's all simple natural materials you can get in a garden shop and a grocery store.

But since you have those purchased already and you may want the experience. Try them.. It's paid for.

A real organic program is about things decaying rather than providing liquids in a medium anyway.

I have "some lovely Filth down here." A Monty Python quote but which movie?

I would say almost 90% of the "organic" shit isn't exactly organic when you factor in the environmental devastation, fuel, product sources and manufacturing, those nice plastics bottles... then the extra whipped cream for the organic price tag. I think Bojangles said it right... Build up soil yourself. Look up dynamic accumulators.

Compost,Earth Juice,Bone meal,Kelp meal,Blood meal.Thats what I use.I like to use the same soil over and over adding ammendments and other shit to it.Seems to get better.

I actually have a five gallon bucket that I have old soil in.I also put all my clippings into it and it breaks them down rather quickly I think.I dont know why people buy compost bins when you can just do it in a white plastic bucket. Each to his own though.

My point is that you dont really have to buy a bunch of shit to grow.

I kinda rambled but I hope that helps some.

Why? The majority of growers in the organic soil forum think it's over-priced, has shady marketing, and doesn't work as well as cheaper mixes. It deserves plenty of criticism IMO. Not only that but I'll go a step further. Faux Farm isn't the only over-priced soil...Roots sucks too. I'd rather not help perpetuate the endless parade of semi-trucks hauling consumer crap around, including pallets of soil.

There's nothing titillating or exciting about canned soil brands.

I have an old friend that would argue with me about fox farms. He would say his weed is organic because FF is organic based, and I'd tell him only the big bloom is organic. He also thinks the government is watching you through your television.
Always do the research before you buy, and don't fall into the salesman talk at the hydro stores. I once told a salesman that I read about a product and he announces across the store "we've got a reader!" which was an obvious attempt at salesman trickery, trying to change my mind and sale me what he wanted me to buy.
The best way to research nutes is to read the threads of people here at icmag that most closely resemble the grow style you've chosen and try to imitate their grow. This will allow your first grows the most chance of success.
Also, FF makes decent products but you can get much better for the same price or cheaper. Check out bio bizz they are organic and work great, a little pricey though.
