This is my first post, and titlle says it all. This is my first grow

and all the info to build my cab was gethered here in IC. I have

killed some seedlings before this ones, and apparently they are

going down the same way. The tips are getting yellow and

growth has stopped. Here are some pictures and the questionary,

any help would be much appreciated.

What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) seed
What is the age of your plants? 2 weeks
How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now? 2 weeks
Were they in the same mixture when they were seedlings/smaller plant? n/a
If not, what mixture were they in before? n/a
How Tall are the plants? About 10 cm
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? seedling
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) don’t know yet
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) small seedling pots (8 cubes)
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) random potting mix (don’t know the brand) with about 30% perlite
What brand Nutrient's are you using? Seasol seaweed (kelp)fertilizer
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? 1ml of seaweed fertilizer p/ litter of water, watering 10 ml of water every two days
*Knowing the brand is very helpful*
How often are you feeding? Every time I water
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? n/a
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect) n/a
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? dont know
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? pH of 6.0
How often are you testing pH/ppm/EC/TDS? Every time I water
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? Handheld YSI (very precise and calibrated, I use it for work)
How often are you watering? Every two days
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? Last feeding was just before the pictures (today) and I’m feeding with every watering
What size bulb are you using? 1X 130 W clf growlush 2700K, 2x 32 W clf 2700K and 1x 48W clf 5000K (total 242 W)
How old is your bulbs? brand new
What is the distance to the canopy? 20 cm
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) around 60%
What is the canopy temperature? 29 degress celsius
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) 24-29 degress celsius
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) big fan with the door open
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? at the moment the door is open at all times, will install a inline fan 290 cfm with carbon filter and passive intake (2x exhaust)
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? Yes but not too strong
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? No it dry’s out preatty quickly
Is your water HARD or SOFT? Don’t know
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? Declorinated tap water with pHed to 6.3 (pH down)
If using tap water, what is the ppm/EC/TDS of the water right out of the tap?(Only if you have a tds pen) don’t know
If using RO,Distilled, mineral water, what is the ppm/EC/TDS without any additives?(Only if you have a tds pen) don’t know
Are you using water from a water softener? no
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? no
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when?
Are plant's infected with pest's? no

Stop feeding them for now. Flush out with plain ph'd water till you get about 25% run off. Then leave till next watering but don't feed as they are overfed. You'll soon need to pot up, bearing in mind that most soil mixe's when new contains enough nutrients and minerals to last about 3 - 4weeks before you need to feed the plants anything.

Hope this helps....please wait to see what others say.

My guess...too wet, notice the droop. Healthy seedlings leaves usually point straight out or up. And/or probably too hot...potting soil usually has some ferts, you don't need to add more. Let it dry a bit between watering. They're really small for 2 weeks...they should be on their 4-6th set of leaves already. You sure you have enough light? Is there drainage?

Good luck!

They don't look terrible. I would definitely stop feeding nutes immediately. The watering schedule has also got to go. You will definitely end up overwatering. Flush and let it dry out a bit. roots don't grow well when soaked, need oxygen. let them dry out a bit between watering, that way the roots stretch.

Thanks for the help, I transplanted the 3 seedlings that were still alive it was time as the roots were poking out the bottom, the other two are gone. This is the price you pay overcarring for your plants when you are a newby. Well lets seeif they will recover. But today I received the stuff i've been watting for more than a month, 150W metal halide and an 120 mm inline fan 290 cfm to finish my box. Also some white skank seeds got in the mail so I think i'm set now. I'm still not using the MH still under 130 W CFL and temps with lights on 27 C.

Overwatering is the #1 mistake! I know it's hard, but it's a weed -- it wants to survive. Lift up the pot for a weight test -- you should know by the weight whether there's a lot or a little water in there. It takes some getting used to, but once you do, you'll know when to water. When using soil I watered about every 3 days, letting the pot get pretty light (to the point where I knew it *needed* water). Healthy as a clam.
