New timer box not working. Can i get some help.

I bought one of the 30 amp sunlight supply timer boxes and i cant get it to work. I know the wall receptacle is fine because the dryer works and i know the problem isnt the small timer that came with it because it lights up when i plug it into the wall. So what else should i be looking for? Ive reset the breakers several times too.

yeah, i think. if i take the small timer and plug it into the wall then plug a fan into it the fan works.

If so then you just haven't set the timer properly. The power is sent to the receptacle when there is power supplied to the trigger cord which then turn a relay on. You can test this by plugging in the trigger cord into an live 120v outlet.
