Help me with my roots

Ok, firstly i'd like to say thanks to icmag, this is my first thread/post, whupdefuckingdo. Insert emoticon

I wonder if anyone can help me with this specific problem

I'm doing a deep flow technique grow although you may consider it to be dwc for arguments sake. I used Rapid Rooters to start my cracked seeds and they stretched. I felt I needed to do something, something that might come back to bite me in the bum - i did this

Part 2 - 'ow, my bum'

Weeks later, still in veg with healthy long roots growing from the bottom of net pots coated with rockwool, the Rapid Rooters have dryed out after (several accidental soakings) and growth has stopped. I do have one that is still soaked and is growing fine so it looks like this is the problem

So as you can see the roots are dying at the top where the rooter is dry. Some have popped out of the side.

My question is - what, if anything, should/could i do?

no pics.... but ok so what your saying is the roots on top, in the rapid rooter are dry. but the bottom roots are ok and still wet?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes that is correct

Can't you see my pics? Can you check my gallery? I don't have a glue how this all works but when I open this thread I can see the pics...there's one shot of the Rapid rooter fix and one of the plantling with a dry root popping out the top.

You've got the right idea anyway. Any ideas?

I do not see any pics in this thread. Check the album settings, I believe they default to private and you need to change it to public. hth

You should be fine. As long as the bottom looks healthy, and you stay on top of watering, the plant should grow beyond it, and eventually live happily. A transplant is in order though, I'd put her somewhere where a medium can surround the upper portion and keep it a little moister. Those roots that are dry, will eventually dry out and die, but no worries, the plant will make more. Be sparing with the nutes, and keep a close (but not suffocating) eye on em.
