This has to be the poorest managed place in L.A. county. I called them before I headed to the place, they were closing early. I for one will never make trip down there again. There is nothing profesional about the way they deal with people. I can get good cuts other places. Maybe not the selection, but large enough I dont have to kiss someone's butt for a cut.

If you called and they said they were closing early....whats the problem?? They frequently close early for maintenance or other important issues. The PO brothers the nicest and most professional with their customers. They deal with EVERYONE with kindness and respect. They bend over backwards to help their patients. I'm not sure what your problem is, but if you talked to the PO bros Im 100% sure they would ameliorate your problem. Anyone who has dealt with PO knows this.

In business, consistency is NO.1. No amount of kindness will save a business that closes early, opens late, is not open on days that they normally are open...etc. I am making absolutely NO judgments about the meds, the compassion, the kindness or anything else... but in my experience, an inconsistent schedule is the kiss of death for any business.

mcsock is lucky he called... or he would have been SOL on arrival. But with a properly run business, he should not have had to call in the first place. When you show up during scheduled hours, the doors are open and staff is on site ready to serve.

Too many businesses in this industry are run by lazy slackers and their crews and provide horrendous, inconsistent service. The problems illustrated by multiple posts in this thread will have this dispensary lumped in with those operations regardless of the good intentions of those that run it.

I am truly not trying to criticize for the sake of insulting you guys... just trying to be constructive because it seems like you have a great assortment of cuts, a proper measure of compassion and a genuine desire to be a valuable part of the med community. Now you just have to get your business practice in line with your intentions.

Anyone who has dealt with PO knows this.

You should be more worried about people who have not dealt with PO yet. First impressions are even more important in business than in personal dealings. You can count on your current client base to thin out naturally. People move, die, move on, change tastes... you need to be constantly generating new business to replace the old. Again, consistency is the only course of action for a successful business.

I hope this post is taken in the spirit in which it was offered. No disrespect is intended. Good luck fine tuning your practice.

I have to agree with Nomaad on this one. I was very interested in some of the incredible cuts you have posted but to drive from as far away as I would need to come from, I would want to know the place was open and actually had the cuts on hand as advertised. Not knocking the establishment just dont wanna waste time like Nomaad said. If you have these cuts on hand you are already ahead of 99% of the clubs ive been in. Now add a slack schedule and guys not serious about the biz side and you are basically like most spots already in rotation. What good is a extensive clone list if we cant get to the cuts cause of weird closing/openning hours? I do want to get some of your cuts tho!!

All your input is very welcome! PO has so many amazing projects in the works. Seeds, tissue culture, MMJ gas chromatography testing. With the move, new employees and a crazy LA ordinance we have been unbelievably busy, BUT that is no excuse.. please forgive our inconsistant hours! If you also are on w**dtracker, we post our schedules and we always post ahead of time when we will be closed or close early.

Tissue Culture... I would love to start playing around with that. Are you planning on selling live tissue cultures like clones? too cool. What is the reanimation time for a tissue culture... how long from culture to plantlet. I am interested to hear about any experiences you've had.

2 months from first cutting to having tissue to transfer. Then about 3 weeks for transferred tissue to grow. Then transfer again to a media with a rooting hormone in it for about 2 weeks. Then they are ready for use.

Theyve always treated me good!

Cool people... I think you'll change your mind if you meet them. Just call first to confirm they are there, no big deal.

just to be clear... 2 months from the first cutting of the plant section and putting it into the "suspension" gel it will be ready to cut off little pieces that will be tranfered into another gel where it will sit for 3 weeks. Then its taken out and put into growing medium (sterile?) with rooting hormone (assuming IBA and NAA?) where they sit for two weeks before you have what someone would recognize as a cannabis plant?
